“Today was the first day I have ever gone to Trader Joe’s, and I had nothing short of an amazing experience. All the employees that I came across were exceptionally nice especially Josh he came up and approached me and asked me if I needed anything and I asked if there was anything that had no sugar like a nice little snack/ sweet treat because I’ve been having a difficult time trying to find any after I got my gastric sleeve and he suggested the no sugar gummy worms and took me over to check to see if they were there they unfortunately were not out on the floor, but he went out of his way and checked for me to see if they had any in stock and they did and he went in the back and got a bag out for me out of the case and met me at the check out line. Kali (I think that’s her name it’s what was on the bottom of the receipt) was our cashier and she was also incredibly kind and friendly and very personable, there was another woman who I spoke with at produce when we came in around 4:30 as well working who I didn’t get her name (I should have) Who was also incredibly helpful and showed me where the mushrooms were after I explained it was my first time ever at a Trader Joe’s she was so incredibly welcoming and took me over to where they were at. Every employee that I came across today was So incredibly kind and you could tell they really enjoyed working there. Definitely will be coming back a lot more 🥰”

“Best prices around, and everyone knows it, so I would expect lines of varying length depending on the day of the week and time of day. Busy days it will take around 10-15 minutes tops to be in and out. They recently added a sign that tells you if certain pumps are open which was a much needed addition. Pumps are quick, and if you went to BJ's before Costco opened, you know that these are MUCH faster than those ones. Attendants are also very helpful if you require their assistance.”

“We’ve been shopping at Whole Foods since this location first opened, and it continues to be our favorite grocery stores thanks to the outstanding team members who work here.
A special thank you to Sam in the deli department. He recently helped us with several items that needed to be sliced very thin, which I know can be a time-consuming and meticulous task. Despite the extra effort involved, Sam was incredibly patient, accommodating, and genuinely kind throughout the entire interaction. He took the time to make sure everything was done exactly as requested, and his customer service was exceptional.
We’d also like to recognize Brandon, who we’ve interacted with countless times. We most often see him working the registers, but we’ve also run into him throughout the store. Brandon is always friendly, professional, and welcoming, and he consistently makes our shopping experience better.

“Last night 10/14/2024 around 7pm we stopped in to get some vegetables. I wanted turnips (not the waxed ones) and leeks. There was a gentleman named Chris working in the produce department. He went out of his way and went in the back and came back with a large bag of turnips. He said he could not find any leeks. It is because of people like Chris that go out of their way to help customers that I enjoy shopping at Big Y.”

“I’ve been to a few Aldis in the area: willmantic, Vernon, south windsor, new Britain, west Hartford, Middletown, Groton, Hamden, Newington, Lisbon, from what I can remembered. I’ve only been here twice I think, it looks larger visually than some other Aldi stores. The products are pretty wide out there as any other Aldi store. Parking is moderately available and they have self checkout like most Aldis do which save you a lot of time”
“This is a wonderful pharmacy. Everyone who works here is friendly, efficient, and professional. The pharmacists take extra time and care to explain the medication before you leave. You all do a great job!”
“I really like this store. Shop Rite is clean, always well stocked, their produce is usually fresh with seasonal specials. In the meat department I've found a good variety of popular meats and the prices are much less than buying at Costco or BJs for the average buyer. Overall the store is large with a wide variety of choices in all areas. Weekly specials are nicely advertised in their paper flyers available in store, delivered to local homes and also found online. Don't forget to put the Shop Rite app on your phone as there are extra discounts available only with the app. Give them a try to see if they carry all of your favorite foods.”

“On Friday before Valentine’s Day I picked out a dozen long stem roses, with extra baby’s breath. I was going to take them home and leave in my garage until Valentine’s Day, but the Floral manager said that would kill them and suggested I leave them until that morning and they would be ready to go. I picked them up and went home to give them to my wife for our first Valentine’s since we got married in December. When she opened them to put in a vase there were only 10 ! I called the store and spoke to the manager Ron , who was nice enough to have someone bring me out another dozen ASAP. Thank you so much Ron , it will be a first Valentine’s to remember!! ?”

“Probably the cleanest and most well stocked dollar general you will ever go to. Unfortunately they do not allow self check out anymore which often causes the check out line to go fairly slow if there is anyone in front of you.”
