“Nice to have the store in this area. Smaller parking lot but did see space for curbside pickup. I guess that is the new way to shop. Store is very bright and clean, since it is new all the carts are brand new, which is great. They are clean and wodking. Stire it's set up as tyoical Big Lots store. Fully stocked with a lot of nice things for the home. Staff seem helpful and friendly.”

“Staff was welcoming and more than helpful! Nice change from the employees with bland customer service that other establishments employ. Definitely a repeat customer!”

“Just what I needed and then some things I was thinking about buying but I didn't know to look for. Walked in and there they were right as you walk in. Saved me searching time driving around SE CT. Also a fair price. Heck they still sell Apple Cider Vinegar. Great to lower blood sugars for Diabetics. Going to go back there to pickup some outdoor entrance mats and some rubber/silicone mats to stand on while working on hard concrete floors all day.”

“**Legacy:** As JCPenney prepares to close its doors, it marks the end of an era for many loyal customers. With a rich history dating back to 1902, JCPenney has been a staple in countless communities, providing affordable clothing, household goods, and more for generations. Its closure signifies not only the loss of a retail giant but also the end of cherished memories and traditions for many shoppers.**Affordability:** One of JCPenney's defining characteristics has been its commitment to affordability. Offering a wide range of products at competitive prices, JCPenney has been a go-to destination for budget-conscious shoppers seeking quality goods without breaking the bank. Its closure leaves a void in the market for accessible, value-driven shopping experiences.**Variety:** From clothing and accessories to home goods and electronics, JCPenney has offered a diverse array of products to meet the needs of its diverse customer base. With both national brands and exclusive lines, shoppers could find everything from everyday essentials to stylish statement pieces under one roof. The loss of this extensive variety leaves a gap in the retail landscape that may be difficult to fill.**Community Impact:** Beyond its role as a retailer, JCPenney has been an integral part of many communities, providing jobs, supporting local initiatives, and contributing to the overall fabric of society. Its closure will not only affect employees and shoppers but also the broader community, as the loss of a major anchor store can have ripple effects on surrounding businesses and neighborhoods.**Nostalgia:** For many, JCPenney holds a special place in their hearts, evoking feelings of nostalgia and sentimentality. Whether it's memories of shopping with family, finding the perfect prom dress, or discovering a great deal, JCPenney has been a backdrop for countless life moments. Its closure represents the end of an era and the loss of a beloved institution for many loyal patrons.**Conclusion:** While the closure of JCPenney is undoubtedly a sad moment for both employees and customers alike, it also serves as a reminder of the changing retail landscape and the challenges faced by traditional brick-and-mortar stores in an increasingly digital world. As we bid farewell to JCPenney, let us cherish the memories and experiences it has provided over the years while also reflecting on the evolving nature of retail and the importance of adapting to meet the needs of today's consumers.---In summary, the closure of JCPenney marks the end of an era for many, with its legacy of affordability, variety, community impact, and nostalgia leaving a lasting impression on countless individuals and communities.”

“Our hairdresser, Judy, was fabulous! Very personable, not plastic. She was professional and caring. My 97 year old client was very pleased with the environment and cut. Would have given 5 stars, but it doesn't seem to be equipped for elderly or someone in a wheelchair or walker. Judy did her best to make her feel comfortable under the circumstances.”

“Since I was in the shopping mode I walked into this Target to check out some large food containers for the kitchen. I like the glass containers, so you can see what's inside. They had a nice selection of containers to choose from. I got the one that I wanted and went to check out...there were many registers open and the process was really easy and quick. Nice bright, clean, store.”

“Picked up this amazing brow enhancer. It's called NYX The brow glue. If you have blonde hair or lighter spots on your eyebrows that you want to fill-in, This works well. It doesn't look as fake as the brow pencils make your eyebrows look. I mix the tap and the transparent version together to make a very light blonde brow color.”

“Came to buy some groceries. Prices were fair. Walmart was fairly clean. It was not packed and I was thankful for that. I was looking for healthy wraps and it took me a while to find it as it had been moved. The Walmart attendant couldn't find it either. So I wasted time going around the store for a while. Bathroom could definitely use a cleaning and fixing of paper holders. Toilet paper rolls were on the floor. It did not smell bad at all. But had tons of pieces of papers left all over by customers. There was plenty of parking and shopping carts available. Otherwise, this visit was fine.”

“Walmart understands mandates are not laws and no one harasses me about not wearing a mask. They offer, I decline and I enjoy my shopping experience. Some customer's living in fear and the virtuous maskers who want to save my dead grandma seem more bothered by it. Overall, good staff. Helpful if needed. Maybe a bit more proactive anticipating guests' needs.”
