“BEYOND explanations, today made a quik stop to get my trailer in compliance with DMV inspection and the employee, not only help me find the items I needed but also allowed me to borrow some tools. It was the first time I visited the store and i was impressed with the quality of service. Kudos to the lady at the counter and the man helping inside on the floor.????”
“I needed a knob for my shower and I went to home depot 3 times and then I went to Lowes 2 time and then I went to Tocco supply in East Windsor and still nothing. Then I was talking to a older guy at a gas station and he told me about Peterson Hardware store, he assured me that I would find what I was looking for there. So I checked online and I saw that they had what I was looking for but I was a little skeptical at first because you always can't trust the internet. But I gave it a shot and went to the hardware store and was greeted by a very nice guy who got exactly what I was looking for he was friendly and very helpful. Just want to say thank you to all of the staff at Peterson hardware store.

“Excellent lighting store with more than enough options! They also have decor and other home needs.I personally used them to do a restoration of a 50+ year old lamp. Price came out to much less than I expected and the lamp is now in perfect working order. Highly recommend for lamp restoration/repair.Employees are welcoming and kind. The store is pet friendly. Parking lot is a shared lot.”

“I bought a used tool that had a wood handle. It was rusty and a mess. It had a weird looking wood handle and looked really old. I was hoping to have it identified by its strange wood. I called woodcraft because I live in manchester. They asked me to take pictures of the wood and email it them. They took the time to research the wood, they then identified it and said it’s a very rare brazilian wood that’s around 150
Years old. They did all this work knowing nothing was in it for them. 5 star. Mom and pop personal treatment”

“I could not have had a better experience! I live in Manhattan and had tried three places here to be ghosted by two of them. I walked into Galleria with no expectation and was greeted warmly by Jenuarie and she was fabulous. She was patient in helping me decide what I wanted to do. I thought I could mix tile companies for an accent tile while never considering the exact dimensions of the tiles may not blend. She pointed this out and from that point I changed direction of what I was doing. After picking out tiles we went to the warehouse for the countertop and the first one I saw was the one I wanted. I also learned I need a fabricator which had not been mentioned to me previously. While waiting for sample tiles I saw some beautiful handmade tiles which I now think will be the accent tiles. I ordered one as the company is in California. The rest of the staff was exceptionally kind, helpful and interested in what my plans were when We discussed the hand made tiles. The experience could not have been better. I saw the negative reviews and I can honestly say I can't imagine any of the staff being cold, indifferent or unhelpful. I highly, highly recommend Galleria in Middletown. I just wish we had a place like this in the city!”

“A small tension spring broke on my new Ferris mower. I called my closest dealer in MA and they said they didn’t have, didn’t check anywhere else, and said we’d have to order and be a week at least. It’s spring and tons of rain, I couldn’t wait. Called Sudden and gentleman said he didn’t have, but he then checked other locations, which didn’t have either, but he said I could order and since he was already ordering from Ferris he could add to the order. They received it the next day and even took the time to help disassemble their showroom mower to help show me how to install it. Fantastic experience and willingness to help even though I didn’t purchase the mower there. They’ve got a new customer now, thank you folks.”

“I went to Lowe 's to look for a specific towel rack for my parents bathroom. This store is huge. They have all kinds of tools, and items for every part of your home. When I had just purchased my home, I was here pretty much every day, with my dad or my boyfriend looking for something for my house. My screen door is from Lowe's, my living room paint color is from Lowe's, just to name a few.I came across a very friendly sales associate, Jamie who chatted with me for a while and told me they don't have that exact towel rack in store, but I could order it online. This isn't ideal, because I did come to the store to purchase it, but shipping only takes two days.While Lowe's isn't my favorite store, I like going here with someone knowledgeable about the product and their uses. The staff I've encountered has been very friendly and helpful. They sell more then what one might expect from a home improvement store.”

“They sell lots of tools at very affordable prices. They are not top shelf quality, but they are certainly not garbage, and for the cost, they are a good deal.They also stand behind their products with a warranty that is no hassle...I have been trying to restock my nitrile glove supply for months, but for some reason, they can't keep up with demand. I guess people must be hoarding. Also, the shelf space is much smaller than it once was, so this is seemingly a contributing factor. I have been buying these gloves here for years now, but ever since the Covid-19 pandemic break out, I can't get them. Auto workers are considered essential, so it would be nice to get my hands on a box. I use them because of grease. For Covid-19, I have been using soap and water or hand sanitizer.C'mon man, get more gloves and stock them fuller (more shelf space), like it used to be.Update (11/13/2020); After several months of frustration, I was finally able to buy a box of gloves... they only had the one box for triple the usual cost I was paying...Update (3/19/23);Looks like they finally got caught up with things. Stock has been replenished.The prices of the gloves are back down to Earth.”

“Redone kitchen in last winter. Approached many stores in neighborhoods eventually decided to go with home outlet. Price was one of the factor but that comes with price too. One of the associate helped us designing the cabinets layout and placed order. After 40 days or so got the stuff when installing found that one of the piece is missing . Went to store again then store manager gave me that for free which is great. Luckily it was in stock . Compare to old real wood cabinets new ones are not upto the mark. Trash cabinets were not ordered right , it was missing inside fittings and right door. They refused to give me those for free. I ended up fitting that myself following YouTube as my contractor wasnt available when I got those. After installing after like two months of use one of the door ripped apart from the hinge . Couldn’t fit it again. Went to store again with that door. They said they will speak to supplier fast forward after 8 weeks got the replacement door.”

Store associates provide helpful friendly service. The store is neat, clean and well stocked. Also, if shoping online their web site is easy to use and up to date.”
“We wanted to recognize Paul K ( Irishman) who actually stopped and asked if he can help us instead of just walking by and having us track down an employee ( like at Lowe’s). He not only showed us where the products were but gave his advice and recommendations as well. He went out of his way to walk us around the store looking for other things that we mentioned and even offered my daughter a bottle water when she said she was thirsty. It was one of the best service we’ve had , way better than Lowe’s ! You have a great employee in Mr Paul K. I will be coming back to Home Depot over Lowe’s because of your friendliness and helpfulness.”
