“Dan is fantastic. He shows up on time. Does quality work at a fair price and goes the extra mile. He did things like fix broken sensors without asking. He knows his stuff and we couldn’t be happier.”

“They had my package for me like the paper said. It's a original landmark of the area and the employees are very nice and always handle my requests well above and beyond my expectations! I'd much rather do my postal business at this great little location than at most of the other local post offices in the area. Have a blessed day!”

“Wow! I’ve never experienced such kindness at a post office!
I came in to mail a box of birthday gifts for my 1-year-old granddaughter, but I wasn’t fully prepared. I didn’t have tape, and the first staff member (an Indian lady) told me to go buy some for $3.50. She also measured my box and said because it was slightly oversized, the postage would be nearly $40 instead of $25. I left, disappointed.
Sitting in my car, I decided to try again. I taped up the box using some recycled tape and went back inside. The first lady was gone, replaced by another Indian lady and an older gentleman named Abe. While she was a bit slower, Abe impressed me right away—he was serving customers swiftly and efficiently, often working with two at once. He clearly knew what he was doing and kept the line moving.
When it was my turn, Abe remeasured my box. Unfortunately, the first lady had been right—it was still too big for the lower rate. He gently asked if I’d consider reboxing it, which motivated me to give it a shot. I left again, thinking I might not bother—but I came back a third time.
Abe waved me over and, to my surprise, offered to help me! He found not one, but two boxes used boxes, tested them both, and helped me tape it all up with care. While doing this, he kept serving others, moving nonstop with grace and patience.
I know it’s not customary for USPS to assist customers with taping, let alone packaging stuff. And, being here multiple times I’ve never seen this, here or at any US post offices across the country. But, obviously this man noticed my dilemma and took it upon himself to be a kind soul.
Abe went far above and beyond. His kindness, efficiency, and generosity absolutely made my day. I hope his boss sees this acknowledgement of his excellent service. Because of people like him, the world truly is a better place. Thank you so much, Abe!”
“The staff at this Post Office are always professional and friendly, even the trainees. They helped me navigate the Passport process due to the Covid restrictions with ease. I actually go out of my way to go there.”
“Ms. Sharon and her team are very pleasant and always ready to assist customers. On one extremely busy day while waiting in a long cue, over the Christmas holidays, one customer burst into singing a carol to cheer the staff on. Everyone in the cue joyfully joined in. The staff was so grateful. In fact, it was a great experience to witness the community spirit because of the hard-working staff at this post office. There are cards and shipping supplies available for purchase as well as ample parking, including handicap access.”
“I must say Nick at the Granby office is the most helpful USPS employee I have ever spoken with. I had a lost package that he was able to help me get situated. After hours on the 800 number I decided to call the local office and he managed to get it resolved in under an hour with a CALL BACK to confirm as well. As someone who manages a sales staff and constant phone comms I have to say this was some of the best customer support I have ever had across all markets. This man deserves 100 stars. Honestly this was the best experience I have ever had with USPS and have zero complaints even with the package being delayed. As a whole Im not fond of the new USPS process however that is not their mistake. New sorting machines etc. that were forced on them is why packages are behind not the workers. Remember that.”
“I’ve been to this post office a few times and they are always courteous and efficient. I worked with Karen today to mail several packages and envelopes. She was kind, patient, and had me out of there in under 5 minutes!”
“I wanted to share my positive feedback from my visit this morning. Theresa and a male staff member provided excellent service and were both very helpful and polite. Thank you for your service!”
“I wanted to see how the post office works before the holidays and noticed that the rating is very low. This is not true. I am very grateful to the entire team for their politeness and patience with me personally, since my English is not 100% good. Very often I arrive 15 minutes before closing (not on purpose), and I always received professional service! I wish all the employees of this branch happiness, health and bright holidays!!!”

“The staff and front desk clerk's are always friendly and very patient. The parkinglot has also been updated for more room and space. Great job guys keep up the good work.”
“I came for passport services and the service received was 5+.Staff was courteous, professional, and detailed.I just moved to Simsbury and earlier in the week I went to the Simsbury one onHopMeadow . The service was awful, The agent in Simsbury treated me like an idiot and was rude..What a difference 4.7 miles makes.”
“Most of the negative reviews are 5+ years old (some are more than 10 years...) and relevant to deliveries and not service at the location itself. Went in today and was helped by a very friendly worker at the desk. Post office visits can often be a pain and a little stressful, so I appreciated the helpful, prompt service!”
“Miguel was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! He took the time to assess what I was shipping and directed me to the appropriate packaging so I didn’t end up overpaying. He saved me a ton of $$$. Excellent customer service!”
“I walked in there feeling rather frustrated as two packages didn't show up. Not sure her name, but some gorgeous women dressed to kill opened the little door window which made me not so frustrated about having to drive about this morning. She took down the tracking numbers and went in back to figure it out. It took 5-10 minutes but when she came back out she had printed off a couple sheets to patiently explain to confused me what happened with my packages. Very helpful.”
“Typically efficient, and I'm able to get in & out in a reasonable amount of time.
Once in a while, they have fewer staff and if you happen to walk in at the same time as a bunch of others the wait can be longer. However, you can't plan for this.”
“Love love love Sonya! Omg heart of gold. Cried tears of compassion over the piece of mail I was sending my daughter. She is a God send give that kind soul a raise. Yall Rock! Open to 1 pm whaaaat! :)”

“Its a small post office, usually only one employee working at a time. They are always very polite and helpful. They are closed between 1pm and 2pm during the week, monday through friday. It is always clean and neat and organized.”
“In this age of home delivery for everything... I found myself in need of a post office. I had Christmas presents that I wanted to send the old-fashioned way.
The two employees at the Maple Avenue brach were both busy, but both seemed friendly and helpful, and the line moved quickly.
This is only my second or third time at this post office, but I have not experienced a problem so far.”
“I was ordering my passport, had never done a money order before and kept grabbing the wrong envelope. The passport lady was super understanding, helped me with signing and finding which documents I needed to send and which to keep.”
