“I absolutely love coming to this post office on Enfield Street! Every visit has been a positive experience. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, professional, and genuinely willing to help.
On one visit, I brought in a package containing important documents. A postal employee recommended a mailing envelope that would better protect my documents, and I’m so glad they did. They took the time to explain the different options instead of just rushing me through the process.
I also had another very important piece of mail to send. I knew I wanted more than just delivery confirmation, and the staff carefully explained the available services and recommended the best option for my situation. Thanks to their guidance, the recipient had to sign for it, and everything arrived safely exactly as planned. That extra peace of mind meant so much to me.
This wasn’t just a one-time great experience I’ve been coming to this location several times, and the service is consistently excellent. The employees are knowledgeable, patient, courteous, and truly care about helping their customers.
I highly recommend this post office to anyone in the Enfield area. It’s refreshing to receive such outstanding customer service every time I visit. Thank you to the entire team for always making each experience such a pleasant one!”

“After I sent my last set of postcards at the post office in Washington Depot I needed more post card stamps for the next step. This post office was not out of my way and at 10:00am, they're open. Easy! The clerk was helpful, friendly and efficient though he had to go in the back to hunt up some postcard stamps for me. It's a small post office and the only thing missing is a drive up and drop off lane, and an automated postage vending machine. [Review 18410 overall - 76 in Connecticut - 1932 of 2022.]”

“When you don't want to have to stop by the most busiest post offices, this lil' office is great for small drop offs! Unfortunately, they only employ a couple people at most at times, so if it does get busy, you'll have to wait.”
“I appreciate that this location has extended hours. It’s very difficult working a full-time job and getting to other USPS locations that close before 5:00. During my recent trip, I discovered they closed the main entrance for paving. It’s well marked with orange signs coming off route 20, but only one sign coming from Route 75 that’s easily missed. Drew a quick map to help others.”

“Ms. Sharon and her team are very pleasant and always ready to assist customers. On one extremely busy day while waiting in a long cue, over the Christmas holidays, one customer burst into singing a carol to cheer the staff on. Everyone in the cue joyfully joined in. The staff was so grateful. In fact, it was a great experience to witness the community spirit because of the hard-working staff at this post office.There are cards and shipping supplies available for purchase as well as ample parking, including handicap access.”

They explained everything clearly and took their time to make sure I understood the process. I truly don’t understand why this location has bad reviews because the place was clean, organized, and the staff was very respectful. I never felt rushed or treated rudely; on the contrary, the service was friendly and helpful. “I walked in there feeling rather frustrated as two packages didn't show up. Not sure her name, but some gorgeous women dressed to kill opened the little door window which made me not so frustrated about having to drive about this morning. She took down the tracking numbers and went in back to figure it out. It took 5-10 minutes but when she came back out she had printed off a couple sheets to patiently explain to confused me what happened with my packages. Very helpful.”

The two employees at the Maple Avenue brach were both busy, but both seemed friendly and helpful, and the line moved quickly.
This is only my second or third time at this post office, but I have not experienced a problem so far.”

“There was an older man who helped me out earlier today, and he was absolutely wonderful! I came in to send a large shipment of packages out and I mixed up two of the shipping labels. He did not make me feel bad and was really nice about the mistake, even when I got stressed out about it (was having a hard, emotional day). He also was so kind to everyone who came in and knew many of them personally, really showcasing how important community and postal service was. Really exemplary.”
