“Best store of them all. Local favorite, especially because of the Best customer service. My receipt is often close to 300 dollars when I shop for groceries here. Customers are feeling the pinch. Publix should offer more sales and discounts than the currently do. People are starting to shop elsewhere. I see a lot of the same Publix customers that I don't see as often anymore (because I go to publix multiple times per week) in Walmart, windixie and at Aldi's. People are seeking cheaper options.”

“I love this location for many reasons (clean, well stocked, good layout etc) but my favorite part about this Publix is the people who work there. Everyone is so friendly- especially Macey who works at the checkout area. I am a regular and Macey always greets me like an old friend and asks me about specific things in my life that she remembers from conversations past- she truly makes me feel appreciated for shopping there and I always look forward to seeing her. Macey deserves so much praise and recognition- a true gem.”

“This location saved Christmas! I stopped in another location to get a Midwest raised rib roast at 5:30 the day before Christmas Eve. The meat cutter had left for the day and not put ANY roasts in the case. I inquired and was told he would be back at 7am. I went to this store and had my choice of a full case and a whole rack on stand by! Thank you!!! It was delish!”

“Love this location! It's always clean, has great fruit and veggies and the cashier's are very nice. Can't believe people complain they only have 3 types of laundry detergent. Crazy times. All I have to say, it's an awesome store.”

Not likely to ever be described as a frugal grocery; but things like the wonderful bakery; deli and fresh produce are worth it IF you can afford it...and I know that's a big IF these days.”

“This particular Publix is getting a 5-Star rating because they had 5 gallons of Blue Bell's Black Walnut Ice Cream! My husband is obsessed with it. Its his childhood favorite. I believe its a seasonal flavor because we could not find it throughout the summer. It finally came out in September and believe me when I say we purchased 2 gallons every week. During the holidays we had family visiting and someone forgot to close the freezer all the way. Well, we lost 4 gallons (we lost everything in the freezer, but hubby only cared about that Ice Cream). I looked at four other Publixes before I finally found it at this one. I think its back out of season. In any case, A big fat THANK YOU to this publix! My Life is a little easier because you stocked more than 3 gallons at one time ??”

“It looks like a latin supermarket, good source to make teas of different thinks like tilo, manzanilla, clavos, arnica con muchas más especies, tiene platanos verdes, platanos maduros to do a good pastelón. It feels like you are in bravoco Sedanos supermarket. And its behind my apartment so I'm blessed.”

Wali Minimart in Altamonte Springs is a great corner store that I highly recommend.

Stop by for any of your tobacco needs like cigarettes, lighters, torches, and smoke shop products such as affordable water pipes, vapes, blunt wraps, rolling papers, glass pipes, bowls, and more.

In addition, the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked with a variety of products.

You’ll find grocery staples in one isle, like toilet paper, hand soap, boxes of pastas/rice, paper towels, dish soap, cleaning supplies, and much more.

In another well organized isle, you will find a variety of over-the-counter pharmacy items such as ibuprofen, Tylenol, Anti-acids, bandaids, cold medicines, and more.
Also located in this isle are affordable hygiene products like razors, toothpaste, toothbrushes, body wash, tweezers, soaps, and more.

This makes the store perfect for any folks who are staying at one of the many hotels in the area.
Located directly across the street from Wali Minimart - State Road 436 - are hotels that include The Ramada, Hampton Inn, Towneplace Suites by Marriott, Springhill Suites by Marriott, and the Residence Inn.
The Opal Hotel is located on the same side of the street as Wali Minimart, right around the corner.
Anyone in need of these items will find them at a much more affordable price than buying them at the hotel’s convenience store, and they sell the same exact products.

Wali Minimart also sells a variety of chips, snacks, ice cream, candy, pastries, soda, energy drinks, tea, juices, water, and more.

The staff have always been extremely helpful, respectful, and friendly.
I believe that the owners name is Z - I hope I got his name right. He deserves to be recognized for his hard work and dedication to his small business.

The store opens early in the morning and closes pretty late, making it very convenient to stop by at any time.
The store also accepts EBT and food stamp benefits.

“Just got my Vericella Vaccine. I was quite nervous but the gentleman, Kyle, was reassuring and did an amazing job! I didn't feel a thing! “I have never had any issues with this pharmacy. They make eye contact with me and say hello. Will be right with you as soon as I walk up. They always answer the phone and even call me back if I ask them to do so. This is my favorite pharmacy.”

“Switched from CVS to Publix a couple of years ago even though the CVS is much closer and have never looked back. Prescriptions as a whole have been cheaper, the pharmacy itself is easier to reach, prescriptions are filled on a more timely basis, they always have what I need in stock, and the people have always been helpful and nice. I take meds for high blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar - plus allergy meds - and Ozempic. On average Publix has been cheaper then the 90 day mail order prescription service my insurance wants me to use even after the higher copay for not going through them. Heck when I first started using them there was no charge for most of meds but that has since changed. I have no complaints. Thanks Publix!”

“This is a smaller store so there's a little bit of your most basic items. If you're looking to SHOP shop, I recommend checking out a Walmart super-center near you!”

“This particular Publix is located in Altamonte Springs, Florida and is definitely a great supermarket to check out if you are in the general area and need to grab a few items. Publix has become the leading supermarket here in Florida and there is definitely good reason for this. They put a huge focus on customer service, they have a lot of great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs (affectionately called "Pub Subs"). I am originally from New Jersey and it is a bit strange to say that some of the area's better subs are from Publix, but it is true. My daughter was visiting from New Jersey and a sub from Publix (which she did call a "Pub Sub") was one of the tastes of home that she was craving. My go-to sub here is usually their Italin sub or their roast beef sub and I wouod recommend upgrading to using the Boar's Head meat. This particular Publix location had a good overall vibe and I would definitely recommend a visit here.”
