“Such a big improvement! The second floor eating area is a great place to eat your choice of deli offerings. Shopping is so much easier with the wide aisles. But for me the deli is the biggest change from all the older Publix stores.”
“I’ve been shopping at Publix for 20 years and the prices were reasonable however now they are way too high for me a senior citizen of 72 years old. I have to budget my money to cover all my expenses so now I go to less expensive stores, Winn Dixie, Aldi and cosco. The only time I go there is to buy lunch meat and cheeses and bread. I’m literally living on pennies and sacrificed many things that I was able to afford before.”

I think if you ring it up yourself you should get a 10 percent discounts at least. Lots of seniors in Florida. I don't see well enough to do it myself either. If they didn't have someone to do it I would not be able to shop there.”

“Prices were great, the store was super clean as well as the parking lot. All the employees we came across were friendly too. (Very rare for the area btw) All in all we had a great experience while visiting from out of state. Makes me wish we had Publix in Texas !”

“Best Cuban spot in the area. First started coming here in the 90’s with my grandmother. I haven’t been here in a few years but their food is still delicious. Store was recently upgraded, kitchen redone with a nice bar and stool area to eat inside now. Always a good choice for fast lunch/dinner with authentic taste. Don’t forget to get your empanadas or pasteles.”
“This review is specifically to the bakery department. Though, I love this Publix in general. I should start by saying that I order all my cakes from Publix and I'm always super happy with the outcome. However, on this specific occasion, I thought it necessary to call out Jackie. She is one of their decorators and is quite amazing at her craft. We wanted to do a special cake for our daughter's first birthday. The theme was "Ever After" and we were wanting to use fleshy pinks, creams, and rose gold colors. Jackie spent more than 30 minutes with me on more than one occasion, and even called me the day before pickup to make sure everything was perfect. I was even able to bring in some gold butterflies, sprinkles, and edible gold foil for her to use on the cake. It was obvious that she truly enjoys sharing her special talent and wanted absolute perfection for us. Upon pickup, she even brought the cake out to the car for us. And the cake was absolutely perfect. She completely mastered the enchanted look that we were going for. Both she and Jordan, their bakery manager, were absolutely wonderful to work with. We will be going to Jackie for all future cake orders. Her passion is unlike any other decorator I've worked with over the years.”
“Target pick up for the win ! I am disabled and have three kids so going inside is tough for me.They make it so easy and are super friendly, so much I've become friends with everyone that works there!They come out in a timely manner, are always polite and you are in and out!There's lots of spots and I've never seen them all filled but even if they were they are fast enough to get you out quickly.And the vets part, there's no extra fee for drive up!”
“My Bodega... You can get just about anything here. Love having a store like this in our neighborhood. This has been my go-to store ever since I moved to Altamonte Springs. I love some of the workers because they are so friendly and caring and helpful. Anytime I want them to stock something new and that I love all I have to do is ask Kam and he will get it in just for me. Who else would do that for you?! No other store would but Kam will! Richie makes that store fun and a Happy place. He is just hysterical and everyone loves him! The same goes for Angel and Greg!”

“This particular Publix is located in Altamonte Springs, Florida and is definitely a great supermarket to check out if you are in the general area and need to grab a few items. Publix has become the leading supermarket here in Florida and there is definitely good reason for this. They put a huge focus on customer service, they have a lot of great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs (affectionately called "Pub Subs"). I am originally from New Jersey and it is a bit strange to say that some of the area's better subs are from Publix, but it is true. My daughter was visiting from New Jersey and a sub from Publix (which she did call a "Pub Sub") was one of the tastes of home that she was craving. My go-to sub here is usually their Italin sub or their roast beef sub and I wouod recommend upgrading to using the Boar's Head meat. This particular Publix location had a good overall vibe and I would definitely recommend a visit here.”
“Switched from CVS to Publix a couple of years ago even though the CVS is much closer and have never looked back. Prescriptions as a whole have been cheaper, the pharmacy itself is easier to reach, prescriptions are filled on a more timely basis, they always have what I need in stock, and the people have always been helpful and nice. I take meds for high blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar - plus allergy meds - and Ozempic. On average Publix has been cheaper then the 90 day mail order prescription service my insurance wants me to use even after the higher copay for not going through them. Heck when I first started using them there was no charge for most of meds but that has since changed. I have no complaints. Thanks Publix!”

FYI: This is NOT a SuperWalmart. This is mostly a Walmart for locals of Altamonte Springs.Most of the reviews I read are of customers that frequent large Super Walmarts and want everything in one store. I shop a few times a month at this store, I never have trouble with parking, carts or checkout. This location has a lot of self- checkout registers which make it easy for me to stop quickly get what I need and leave without hassle. They usually do have one - two registers open for those that prefer a cashier but the wait times might be more than the self- checkout lines. I know there is a Super Walmart in Casselberry and Apopka, but for small necessities they are not worth the drive and time for me.
