“Aldi is not perfect, but it is among my favorite places to shop. Although the selection is less, the value for the money is better than most larger supermarkets. What I appreciate the most about it is the friendly staff, and their positive attitudes and willingness to help when asked. I have found breads with less ingredients and more flavor. Healthier, less processed food options are important to me. Of course you have to read labels, just like anywhere else! I usually start my shopping at Aldis and if I can't find everything I need I go on to other stores. I appreciate the good value, and the positive shopping experience.”
“I regularly have a good experience at this Aldi but tonight I felt the service needed to be commended. My cashier, Dyquaris, was super friendly, super quick... not only helpful to me, but also watched him assist an elderly lady in picking up her cane she dropped. Im not surprised by his actions as his attitude is clearly a very positive one for the store and I wanted you to know.”
“Had such a wonderful time at the Pineapple Kitchen Murder Mystery Dinner. Mike and Jenny Schenk, along with the entire dinner crew, pour so much heart into every detail, and it truly shows in the care, quality, and creativity of the whole experience. The story was fun and engaging, the humor kept everyone laughing, and Mike brought the mystery to life in such an impressive way. You can feel the passion they all have for creating a night that guests will remember. The food was so delicious too, which made the evening even more special. Highly recommend!”

“On Saturday 2/14 in the evening I ran into Publix, my 5 year old grandson was coming and I wanted to get a few things for him for Valentines. I was walking around the bakery talking to my husband saying I just want one cupcake they dont have just one cupcake, Aaron says to me your looking for one cupcake? I said yes, he said I might be able to help you, he walked over to the bakery counter spoke to Andy, then turned around and said go pick out the cupcake you want. I was so surprised, so happy that Aaron was listening and stopped what he was doing to help me. I told Andy which cupcake and had one more request, I asked him if he could write a heart on it, he took his time and drew the best heart that he could on this little cupcake. All I wanted was one little cupcake, I didn’t think I was going to get it but because Aaron was listening, and Andy’s little heart on a cupcake, my little Valentines for my grandson was perfect. I want to thank Aaron and Andy for going over and above and I want to thank Publix bakery for being one of the best parts of the store. -Melissa and Oliver Holder”

“Always find all items fresh! From the produce: fruits and vegetables, too great deli meats, cheeses and hot food with a salad and soup bar. Love the fresh bakery breads and desserts. Great meat and seafood selection and courteous, respectful, helpful staff. I seriously never find anything wrong with their food or service! They deserve 10 stars.”

“First visit March 2025. Lots of options of fresh and dry items. Frozen foods include fish, meats and sweet items. They also have a selection of kitchen items like sake sets, tea pots, utensils, etc. Super knowledgeable and helpful owners/staff.”
“There is not a lot of competition, so a 5 star review is no brainer. Pani puri fixings are frozen, unlike what I'm accustomed to, but a nice treat to have. And my new Ganesh/Ganopati is a nice addition to my dashboard. I'll definitely be back.”

“* LONG REVIEW* PLEASE READ!
My wife and I went to this location yesterday as we had a custom preordered birthday cake to pick up. Upon arrival at the bakery, we realized that the cake they had given us was not the correct cake. Not a huge deal, but it’s our daughter’s 3rd birthday and we really wanted it to be perfect for her! So, the bakery associate called over the manager whose name is Josh. Josh immediately greeted us with a friendly approach and told us he would make everything right.
He proceeded to ask us exactly what the cake was supposed to be and my wife showed him the picture that she had originally showed the bakery before ordering the cake. Josh realized the differences and he immediately took the price tag off of the cake and said kindly, “Here, you may have this cake for FREE since we messed up the order”.
We thought to ourselves, awesome! However, Josh was not done there. Next, he stated that the bakery manager, Veronica would be in to close the bakery this evening and that she could quickly prepare our original cake for us as well, also for FREE!!
It STILL doesn’t end there… Josh and Veronica then put together a plan to hand deliver the new cake to our home!!! Talk about exceptional customer service! This type of service is the type you would expect in a 5 star high end resort or restaurant.
We were completely blown away by how well Josh (the Publix manager) and Veronica (the bakery manager) handled this specific situation. They completely went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure that we were able to give our daughter the best birthday cake she could have ever imagined!
This experience will truly stick with me forever as I am also in the hospitality and service industry. This is EXACTLY the way a situation should be shown to new workers in training because of how perfect it was handled!!!
PUBLIX CORPORATE- Please, take notice to this very specific situation and make sure Josh and Veronica receive the proper attention they deserve for doing the absolute best they could do!!!

“I shopped here for nearly 20 years before moving out of Florida altogether. The owners were always super kind and friendly. Store is well-stocked with pretty much anything you could need. Growing up in NW Bradenton, it was a super convenient location to ride my bike to. As I got older, it remained a local staple and many late night snack/beer runs were made here. It is an all-around great store. 5/5 stars.”

“I live on the island but often shop st Beachway Plaza Public, because it has so much more, including a Zenshi Sushi chef (who has made special orders for me with briwn rice, when he has some), and the Island Publix doesn't carry many items that I see on sale in the Publix app. Their app is the best (since they fixed it) and I make my list in the app, and at checkout, it applies my saved coupons and rewards, and I get my receipt by email.
The Beachway store staff are very helpful, and have ordered itemsfor me that are out of stock. Check my pictures to see the BOGO sale items. I got rainchecks for the organic, grass fed steaks on BOGO!
The staff at both stores are great - and even transfer when needed.”
“The rotisserie chickens are delicious! They have great cheese varieties… They have numerous organic options, For those of us who like to be extra healthy! I love everything about this grocery store/ health store…. Except for recently, they took away the tables outside, which made coming here a less than perfect experience.

“A great Publix, staff is fast and reliable to your needs. Quick shopping for Me. Great location! Obviously the management must be really good here. I did get a box of their fried Chicken and it could have been a little more done around the bone, so I always microwave each piece for about 15-30 seconds to compensate. If I were going on an outing without power I would have them make up a fresh box Thats really done, to the bone. Products are a little higher here, but it’s probably the area it’s in. Deli, cook that fried chicken, for another couple minutes and your problem would probably be solved, and you would get a five star. Store is very clean and in order with other Publix stores I’ve shopped. If they fix the well done chicken in Deli I will change this. The bakery is a 5 star all the way. You’re so close to a 5 star, but underdone food that is fried can be an issue for people.”

“Today, I had the absolute pleasure of being helped by Adrian at the sandwich counter, and I feel compelled to say something because moments like this are rare.
I watched Adrian prepare my sandwich with a level of care, focus, and intention that immediately stood out. Every ingredient was placed thoughtfully and precisely, as if he understood that each bite mattered. I was so absorbed in watching him work that I nearly forgot what topping I was supposed to request next. It wasn’t just sandwich-making, it was pride in action.
That attention to detail translated directly into the final result. I am an avid Pub Sub eater, and this was hands down the best sub I’ve ever had. It tasted better because it was made with care. There was no rushing, no shortcuts, just genuine effort and respect for the customer.
Adrian clearly takes tremendous pride in his work, and that kind of character cannot be taught. If he carries this mindset with him throughout his life and career, he will excel in anything he chooses to do.
Please give this man a raise. I truly mean that.
