As I look on the ground in the parking spot next to me, I saw a little pink and brown animal(a baby mouse or a baby squirrel). I realized it was still alive, so I gently picked it up and brought it over to earthwise, and I met Cory, and he did what he could to help me find someone who was able to take care of it. The person that he thought of was not able to help in this situation but he was able to take the baby critter off of my hands and take care of it in the meantime, while still trying to figure out what to do. For that reason alone, their care in consideration for even just the tiniest thing if I ever need pet supplies, I would definitely recommend them. Thank you again, Cory.

My grand furry baby—my daughter’s dog—had his very first haircut there, and he looked absolutely adorable. Most importantly, he didn’t look traumatized at all; he was calm, happy, and clearly well cared for.
The staff was amazing: kind, patient, and very professional. The timing was great, making an appointment was easy, and the service was efficient without feeling rushed.

I had appointments for my bearded dragon and myself at almost the same time, and they were so understanding and even kept him there until I got back. That took so much stress off my shoulders, and I was incredibly grateful.
What really stood out to me was how much time they took to ask questions and get to know my bearded dragon instead of rushing through the visit. You can tell they truly care about the animals they treat and want to make sure they’re giving the best care possible. Everyone was smiling, patient, and made us feel right at home. It’s not easy finding a vet you completely trust, but I’m so happy I found this one.

After hearing that our neighbors took their dogs there for board and train and had amazing success, we wondered if it was the right choice for us too. Our once sweet corgi Lola was showing a lot of negative behaviors since we brought our first baby home and our house descended into total chaos. I also know that we as dog owners probably failed her pretty miserably in the training department and didn’t set her up for success early on when we should have. Walks were horrific, she was aggressive with my husband, possessive of me, ignored all commands and it was so stressful on a day to day basis. We contacted Dania and Jimmy and from the very first phone call, I knew we had made the right decision. Dania wasn’t just reassuring about bringing her there, she was extremely knowledgeable. She didn’t just tell us what Lola would learn, she explained why she was behaving the way she was and what it would take to help her. And it never felt like a sales pitch which I appreciated. It was clear they genuinely wanted to help Lola and help us as her owners! That made all the difference. We chose board and train due to Lola’s aggression, and Dania reassured us it was fixable. Throughout her stay we received regular updates, phone calls, and even videos of Lola hanging out in the yard with the other dogs which is something we never thought we’d see from our nervous baby!
The weekend before we were set to start our training with her to get her back home, my husband and I were in a severe car accident that left us unable to care for ourselves, let alone properly take care of our dog. My husband had two shattered hands and I a broken spine, which meant neither of us could even hold a leash, walk or play with her. Dania and Jimmy immediately said “we got it handled, you take care of yourselves” and kept Lola for an extra MONTH while we healed enough to start training. Our first session back with her this weekend brought me close to tears. The dog we dropped off is not the dog coming home, but in the best way! She was sooo excited to see us (I was terrified she’d think we abandoned her. The dog mom guilt was real!) and Jimmy walked us through everything she had learned:
-Loose leash walking without pulling
-Keeping eye contact
-Coming when called
-Automatically sitting during pauses on walks
-Knowing “bed” and actually staying there
-Confidence, calmness, and focus we never knew were possible
Jimmy also did a great job at training us as owners. He pointed out areas that we could work on and guided us through how to handle certain issues that popped up in our session. lola is still our sweet corgi girl but with a foundation that helps her thrive instead of spiral. We are unbelievably thankful for the time, effort, and genuine care that Jimmy, Dania, and Naomi poured into Lola. Not only did they help us get our dog back, they helped us get through one of the hardest months of our lives. Life looks a little different right now as we heal, but because of Camp Hope we know Lola is no longer a source of worry and instead she’s going to be a source of our joy again which we absolutely need right now. We cannot wait to have her back home full time and continue working with her to make sure she’s set up for success the rest of her life. Thank you!!!!

3510 NW 22nd Dr, GainesvilleJon is awesome! We rescued our Lab/CD mix, Chloe, from a not-so-great environment, and she struggles with a lack of confidence and general fear, which developed into resource guarding as she got more comfortable with us.
Jon met us at a local dog park to work on safe exposure to other dogs, gauging her tolerable threshold for being able to stay calm and not react anxiously at the sight of another dog (especially the little guys!).
Jon gave us some great tips and homework, and we even saw an example of a non-observant dog owner at the park, whose dog attacked another dog. We all saw the signs immediately when they first arrived at Squirrel Ridge, and unfortunately our suspicions came true.
I highly recommend giving Jon a try, so far we’ve had a great experience!
We’re grateful for Jon’s professional experience and guidance and are really happy to be working with him with our scaredy-cat, Chloe. We’re looking forward to the end results of his professional expertise!

After having mediocre results from group lessons at Petco, I opted for a private lesson with Jenny.She asked several questions about Luna’s behavior and previous training experience, then she thoroughly explained several methods I can use to encourage proper leash behavior.She went on a walk with us, analyzing Luna’s tendencies and providing feedback along the way. I’m now confident that I have the training skills and knowledge needed to get Luna where I want her to be.Jenny is extremely knowledgeable about animal behavior and training technique. I would highly recommend her to anyone experiencing roadblocks with training your dog.

For reference, ive had 3 different trainers and none of them have even come close to the difference in my dogs behavior from only 5 training sessions. Sam and Michelle both have incorporated expert advice to working with my dog better but, even more importantly, they showed me in real time that I can have a better relationship with my dog. Not only am I closer than I have ever been with my sweet butterball but shes actually listening to me. I cannot recommend GCA enough.

I called them while I was in the airport and Dogs rule took him! I’ve had many last minute plans come up and they take him every time. Usually since he’s a high energy breed and only listens to me, most daycares/ boarding make it apparent they don’t like him or he needs further training (he’s been trained) Here I feel like they love and care about him as much as I do. I’m also a student and finding affordable boarding and grooming has been hard. Their prices are great! Very appreciative of them, they gave him a chance not a lot of other places gave!

So reassuring to have our vet next door if anything happened to our beloved pet, right? Used their services twice, were very happy. Then came the day my husband had to be unexpectedly hospitalized. I can’t describe the peace of mind I had when I called them (an hour before closing, btw) and asked if they could take her and the relief when they said “yes of course!” This was such a big deal for my husband and me, because she’s like our kiddo, 10 mo/55lbs of energy- not something we can ask just anyone to take into their home and keep for a minute.

We’ve lived here for almost two years and had no idea this place existed. The inside is really cute, and the lady working was super friendly. We mentioned that we had never been there before, and she was very welcoming.
I tried the cotton candy and bubblegum shaved ice with mango pearls, and it was absolutely delicious. A lot of places water their flavors down, but not here. Everything was really flavorful, and we were genuinely impressed.
Overall, we will definitely be back. The vibe inside was really cute, and if you download the app, you can save a dollar. Definitely check them out, this is a new favorite for the Doody Destination!
