47 SW 165th St, NewberryOur 24-yr-old horse exhibited critical signs of rapidly failing health. A phone call in the morning led to a much-needed farm visit from Dr. Stephanie Helinger in the afternoon. She and her assistant provided a thorough exam and preliminary treatment regime. Blood panel test confirmed the metabolic disorder situation suspected. One week later, a re-visit confirmed the horse was on a good road to recovery because of the early treatment. The level of communication from Stephanie and the PhD Vet Services associates via text and emails (instructions, lab results, etc.) was excellent. Dr. Helinger checked in several times via text over the week to inquire about the horse's condition. PhD Veterinary Services are the people to call when you have a horse medical problem.

16025 W Newberry Rd, NewberryTaryn is amazing with my big pups. She is very knowledgeable with animal care which is just a huge plus! She pays attention and give just a healthy amount of playtime and rest indoors. I don't have to worry about overcrowding or potential dog attacks because she separates/groups them appropriately, or for them to be out too long when it is hot outside or raining. I think the system she has in place for daycare and boarding is the safest and most effective I have seen so far. Her place is a little farther from us but this is the only place that gives me a peace of mind for my big babies.

Dancin' Dogs Boarding & Daycare
17314 SW 30th Ave, NewberryOur dogs Laney and Trigger ADORE dancin dogs! They will whine all the way there. Our dogs are our babies and the owners, Tere and Rick, treat them as their own. It makes us feel so comfortable knowing they are happy and being loved while we are away. They get to run around in their open yard, play, and sleep in their home. They come home spoiled! They are always wagging their tails when we pick them up. They sleep hard for the next day or two because they are so worn out having fun. I recommend to anyone!

25250 West Newberry Road, NewberryI got an iced caramel latte with oatmilk and sat outside. It was nice little getaway and different than any other coffee shops. I will get extra shot of expresso next time since I like it a little charged and since my coffee looked a little like milky when I mixed it. I wish it was a little stronger since it felt more like a dessert really sweet and I was missing the notes of the expresso. I might come back and see if adding an extra shot of it helps. I did like the ambiance and just relaxing decor and simplicity.

I liked the variety of coffee and bakery items as well. My only complaint was the service. I asked the barista for a latte recommendation and she couldn’t give one - that’s a big red flag to me since the quality of barista normally determines the quality of your drink. The lattes were good - not great. I would say this is a good option if you’re not super picky.

13005 Southwest 1st Road Suite 129, NewberryWe had went there a couple months ago for the first time and were not impressed with the bar service. The bartender was not into her job at all and even getting a drink was a chore. We gave it another try yesterday and what a difference. Taylor and Renna were tending bar. Attentive and obviously happy at their job.
We ordered the southwest egg rolls and the filet. All delicious.
The side dish carrots were young carrots and great also.
