Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Eagles Nest Bar and Grill
18545 NW 45th Ave Rd, CitraGreat atmosphere with a beautiful lake view that really adds to the experience. We brought our boats up to the dock and stopped in for lunch, which made for a perfect day on the water. The food and service were both very good — definitely solid, tasty bar-style food that hit the spot after being out on the lake.
The staff was friendly, and the whole place had a laid-back, welcoming vibe that makes you want to hang around awhile. The only challenge was docking our airboats since the dock space is a little limited, but even that couldn’t take away from an enjoyable visit.

Kindred Spirits Sanctuary
1411 E Hwy 329, Citra100% recommend this peaceful, sanctuary experience. Come by yourself, with a friend or with the kids. Every animal has a story. Some are playful, some are naughty, some are curious, some are introverts. You will, for sure, connect with many of the residents and leave with lots of memories.

butterball farm hunt terrier
14757 NE 21 Ave Rd, CitraI purchased a puppy here in May of 2022. The whole process was amazing! It started with a phone call. Snooks is so knowledgeable and caring! We visited her beautiful home and were so impressed with what we saw. We were able to meet the parents of our fur baby before she was even born. Once our Molly was born we were able to visit her whenever we wanted so we chose 4 weeks and 6 weeks. Snooks never rushed our visits, she let us spend as much time as we wanted with our beautiful girl. We were not only able to play with our puppy during each visit but we were able to listen to the great stories Snooks told. We looked forward to each visit!I don't know how, but Snooks picked the perfect puppy for us! We love Molly and can't imagine our life without her! If you are looking for the perfect fur baby, you have found the right place!

2615 E Hwy 318, CitraWe found EARS to be an exceptionally caring voice for the animals in our community! EARS (endangered animal rescue sanctuary) of central florida, Wildlife Sanctuary, Citra is a nonprofit 501c3 organization dedicated to providing lifelong refuge for exotic and endangered animals rescued from abuse, neglect, or displacement and often utilized by The state FWC to place animals when appropriate or calls from local governments as well as private owners whom no longer have the resources or ability to care for their animals.
