“Service! Service! Service! I left Capital One because they farmed out their customer service to a third party, and it wasn't good. I was hacked last week and flew to the Clearwater location to open a new business & personal account, as they had shut down my accounts to protect my funds. When they opened the doors at 9 Monday morning until Noon, it seemed like the entire bank was working to get my company & personal accounts back online. A special thanks to Hahn, who was stuck with me the entire time and had to get other branch members to assist her in completing the tasks. Every single person was awesome! This is truly MY BANK, at least that's how they make you feel. I hope they continue to grow but always maintain that personal touch.”

“They've done pretty good for the many many years I've been there. When it was first home bank the ATM would always have issues and that was a major inconvenience - I've moved so only visit once a month now but when I did live by it seems they started getting it back to working order more often than not. Other than that the manager and tellers have always treated me with respect and addressed any concerns. I feel like it's a good place to stay banking with - this is why even know I live an hour away I still use them for my safety deposit among other things.”

“I also had the same problem with “the old man”. I have a mortgage w/ Chase so when I got a mailer that promised me $300 for opening an account, I decided to give them a chance. “The old man” was rude, impatient, condescending. He assured me that he would submit the required Direct Deposit forms and everything would happen smoothly and it might take 2 months or so for the order to change my Direct Deposit to Chase. I checked after 30 days, no Direct Deposit, 60 days, the same. On my third month, which was the time limit, still no DD. I went to the bank and luckily met Lili, the Manager, and she told me that I ALSO had to contact the holder of my funds to verify my request. She promised to take this failure of communication to her superiors upon successful Deposit and get the bonus reinstated. She also alluded that the “old man” was gone. Well, today is the day and if Lili can work some magic, all will be well, if not, I just got an offer from Suntrust that is equal to Chase’s. It took maybe 6 minutes to verify my request and 90 days of waiting to see it’s fruition after Lilies tutorial. As an aside, when I opened the account, I asked for checks and “the old man” was shocked and said that no one uses checks and it would cost like $50 USD to order them. I was shocked and told him to rip up the paperwork and close the account. He generously had 2 checks printed and I should consider this a gift. Now, I’m an “old man” and I was taught that the customer has a right to be treated well, I am not sorry that he is gone as his role at Chase was the perfect definition of a sinecure (without a reason) position. He laughed at me when I asked about rate of return on a savings account. How dare he have the audacity to laugh at MY MONEY. I shall amend this review pending outcome. Well, I got my $300 and have NEVER had a single problem with my accounts. It has been good.”
