“National is a great rental car service. I rent cars with them weekly. The process at Daytona beach is a little slower as there is no emerald service. All rentals must go through the counter and the process is outdated and unorganized.”
“Although it’s a bit pricey and the app is inconsistent; it’s worth it with the wonderful service provided by the staff has been incredibly accommodating when they can be. Adam has been very helpful in explaining everything to me in a manner I can process. Even going out of his way to get my rental picked up after I had a medical situation & could not drive to return the car this all happened within an hour of closing time. As someone who has been in the struggle for quite sometime, I appreciate the no judgement, friendly smiles & encouraging words I have received from this location. I spoke with a very kind lady on the phone as well I wish I had caught her name. This location does not get enough credit. Give them alllll a raise!”
“Great experience here. Pick up and drop off was easy and fast. Vehicle was clean. There was a choice of several available vehicles. Drop off is right by the airport entrance too. Both service managers for pick up and drop off (Chris) were pleasant and clear with rental details. Can easily recommend this location.”

Have rented from Budget a few times, in multiple states, and there always seems to be an issue. This time (about 10 days ago), the rental was returned to the Daytona Airport location, earlier than expected time, and with an over filled gas tank. Always choose to fill the gas tank to better control gas price. And as area resident, know the the closest gas stations to top off, immediately outside the airport. A day or so ago, received an updated receipt with a charge of $5.99 which appears on my credit card. The receipt showed the car supposedly, was given to us with 15.3 gallons of gas and returned with 14.7 gallons. Was charged for about a half gallon of gas at their rate of $9.99 a gallon. The car model given to us holds 19 gallons of gas. Obviously, the car was not given with a completely full tank of gas. And there was no way a half gallon of gas was used to drive to the airport. Seriously, how is the customer supposed to know their gas tank falls short! I believe their electronic systems to monitor car returns are flawed and not correct. I also don't believe the vehicles are maintained at their optimum which may have added to this mis-calculation of gas upon vehicle return. Theres always a deceitful circumstance using thus comapnayBudget, I'm done with rentals from your company.”

“Renting a car can be tricky. Like every other bussines the you can be put on hold for 30 min before somone picks up. You must price compare on your own, and find out terms such as returning early, milage etc. That means waiting on hold for 30 min. It's part of living in 2024 and it sucks! But I am giving the staff 5 stars.
For me after my expereince with Expedia and another company I got scamed on line, so after my research I decided to go with Budget in Daytona Directly After my 30 min hold time I found out what I needed to know. I did have to wait a day because at the secret car that was dirt cheap that I picked online was electric and that I did not want. the next day, When I got to the rental place the car i chose online I was given all accurate info that the web did not tell you, such as what happens if you return early
Anyway since my car was in the shope I was right, I was able to return the car early got my $500.00 credit and I am happy
I truly felt Able ( one of the agents) was very knowledgeable and gave me all the accurate info. For me thats priceless. Could customer service be better with the phone YES!!! but like every other company good customer service is the lowest priority because they understaff. ( I know I used to work in a call center) For shame on Corprate America. But as far as the employees they were great!”
“It was a very slow Process I already pre-registered had to go through it all again and the website I did it on was dollar.com. The poor guy was all by himself. He did the best he could. He was friendly, but a very slow process of getting the car. also, the car had an awful odor inside”

She saw what kind of pain I was in and that I was having to walk with a cane and she offered to go out and get my car and bring it around front for me. When I got in, she had the air already turned on. I can't thank her enough. I had a very rough travel experience up until I met her. She is wonderful.”
“Such a nice AND local crew! Super educated on the carts and fun places to go. Plus the carts are very nice and can get through thick sand no problem. But make sure you stay in the driving lanes and avoid water. They can go on the road too if you need to avoid a “no drive zone” and then get back down on the beach. We had a blast! Best day of vacation so far!!!”
