He took the time to answer every question, explain everything clearly, and make sure I found exactly what I needed. Matt truly went above and beyond to make the entire experience easy and stress-free. Exceptional customer service like this is hard to find. Extra Space Storage is fortunate to have Matt on its team. If you need a storage unit, ask for Matt—he will take great care of you!”

“Stopped by just because it's convenient location. But I got more than I bargained for. The price was good, and there are no hidden fees. Everything is broken down for you right at the counter. Mary made sure to give us all the details and was even able to help us find the perfect storage unit for our needs! I have peace of mind knowing that if I were to need any assistance in regards to my unit or the building itself Mary would have my back! The building is clean and the units air conditioned. They even have complimentary hauling carts to move your items to and from your vehicle to your storage unit. The elevator has a fairly wide door and is very spacious once inside. Locks and select storage accessories are sold just inside the front door as well so no need to make any extra trips.”

“I have been using Extra Space Storage for years across multiple cities (LA, SF, Chicago) and have always been a huge fan of their clean facilities, friendly staff, and helpful services like package acceptance. Unfortunately, my experience at this Fort Myers location over the past year has been highly disappointing due to unexpected price hikes and pests. Drastic Price Hikes: I started with a 9x10 unit at $35/month with Ralph. After two months, it jumped to $81. By month eight, it spiked to $151. When I called support to ask why I was being charged $70 more when the same unit is listed online for $60, they refused to match or keep my previous $81 rate. Ralph shared that this fee will be moving fwd, that since I moved prior to the date I should be okay. Yet what a price increase! Communication Breakdown: Customer service claimed they mailed a rate increase notice to my old Washington State address. When I signed up, I explicitly told the branch staff that I live in Spain and needed all communication via email. My daughter might visit the unit, but all financial with me. They assured me this wouldn't be an issue, yet they failed to email me. Furthermore, I checked my Washington mail today, and no notice was ever delivered there anyway. Rodent Issues: This climate-controlled indoor unit has a mouse/rodent infestation. I have attached video evidence of a rodent eating through one of my boxes. I expected the usual high standard from Extra Space Storage.”

“so far the service and payment has been very good and seamless very easy to do however it's a little pricey and the 5x10units the door really is only about 4 ft wide at best maybe even less than that so it's hard to get anything big in a 5x10. kind of forces you into renting an 8x10 if you have couches beds motorcycle anything bigger than a bedside stand.”
