“During our visit to the Magical Monkey experience at Jungle Friends, we fed the monkeys and learned about their sad pasts. The guide's knowledge of the 170 monkeys was impressive, knowing many by name. The experience was enjoyable.”
“They saved our baby girl Nova. When the vet we were at charged us $1200 just for office visit blood work n x-ray, that wasn't enough. They then advised us it was going to cost another $3-5k to perform emergency hysterectomy or within 24 hrs, she would die. One of their staff said to take her to No more homeless pets and even though I didn't have an appointment they took her in. Our family are very Happy to say Nova survived and is doing wonderful. So grateful for everyone here”

“Awesome, awesomer and awesomest!
Ronald McDonald House let us use their large conference room gratis, and gave us a very interesting, refreshing and inspirational tour of the beautiful facility. RMH’s mission is to provide a
home-away-from-home for the families of (typically) critically ill children being treated at our local hospitals. What a blessing that is when the moms and dads are overwhelmed by worry over the most important thing(s) in their lives! There are snacks 24/7 & possibly meals, private rooms and bathrooms, kind and helpful staff who appear dedicated to the mission are readily available.
Bottom line: I absolutely could NOT have been more impressed and touched by the superior quality of care and compassion the charity offers to families parents and children!!”
“I've been coming here for 6years or more. It's a great place to make an appointment to have your tax done for free, and it's back within two weeks or less. They also do straight deposit into your account. I love coming here!”
“Wonderful experience. I went for the sale on Sunday and also today. Sunday was busy as all get out, but they have an efficient set up. They provided shading for much of the outdoor line (though there was an area where you are in direct sunlight), and the line moved fairly quickly. They keep track of occupancy for everyone's safety so you're waiting for shoppers to leave. I waited about 15 minutes in line, and there was a water station available. I bought 22 books on Sunday and spent 18 bucks. I bought 11 hardcovers today for 11 bucks. I love supporting Friends of The Library. The crowd, line and heat are easy prices to pay for the amount of books you can find. A friend drove from Okeechobee for the sale Sunday and said it was worth the drive.”
“Update: Megan has been working with us to help with my son’s behaviors and so far so good. She is giving us good tips on how to redirect certain behaviors for a positive outcome, she keeps good communication and try to plan accordingly to our wants and needs. We are very happy with the service and the effort put into it. Thank you!
Horrible service! My kid was receiving therapy at this place and got discharged without any paperwork to say what areas they evaluated or how he got evaluated (the therapist, Bella, only took him to the room and observed him play, her words). After a month or so they concluded he didn’t need therapy and wouldn’t give us the information on his evaluation without a court order, even though he is a minor. On the other hand, they recommended family therapy which we agreed to do but it has been 4 months and multiple phone calls but the supervisor wont call back. So far we are very disappointed.”
“I love dogs especially pit bulls please help je fet one that's a puppy someone I don't have no money so I'm asking for one that is given from the heart”
“I’ve been a donor to Insulin for Life USA for several years and continue to be impressed by their accountability, transparency, and dedication to saving lives across the U.S. and around the world.
It’s rare to find an organization with people so genuinely committed to their mission.
The whole idea of turning surplus supplies into lifesaving support is truly remarkable.”
“Well, I was looking for the Habitat for Humanity shop. They closed last year?.
Too bad, they had great supplies for household replacements and furniture.
No photo for here.

“The Red Cross provides humanitarian services that are unparalleled to any other organization. I have spent time as a volunteer in conjunction with TRC, observing first hand devotion they have to protecting human health and welfare.
As of Recent, I put in an emergency call for my son to come home from his Naval Post in Virginia so he could be with family while his grandma was dying. The order went straight through and though he did not make it in time to see her before she passed, he was able to visit with other grandparents including his grandfather (my dad), who went into the hospital the day after his wife died and who almost died himself of organ failure. So, thank you, Red Cross, for all you do. You are appreciated!”
“Great organization helping to keep our community clean and beautiful! They’ve been very helpful with my teens getting their community service hours for high school handled, and it’s great they provide guidance and supplies.”
“All the staff at NHDC go out of their way to assist any one looking to purchase a home by offering help with credit, budgeting and, most importantly, with Down Payment Assistance.”
“Pretty good place has some good deals .some items are priced at normal store prices which is mind blowing considering these are donated items. 50.00 dollars for a tent. 40.00 for a plate set.. 75.00 for a small oven. 450.00 for a dresser ? 500.00 for a bed. It wasn't a nice bed either or the dresser I skipped this section”
“Lovely setting in the middle of a very popular downtown area of parks, shops, eateries, upscale condos and hotels. AND then the homeless have set in. What a tragedy for them and this area. July 2022 and people sleeping all about. The city has an obligation to taxpayers and residents to solve the issue. No excuses. Homelessness degrades a community, encourages vagrants, crime and debris. It increases sanitation issues. Alachua County is supposedly the highest IQ County in Florida. DO SOMETHING ! START CARING ABOUT THOSE LESS FORTUNATE. Its a tragedy in itself but it detracts from a quaint shopping area where owners are trying to do something good for the area and make an honest living.”
“Annett was the best friendliest service I have received in a long time. She genuinely cares about the problem! She is great with the customers! Would recommend them and her to anyone”
“If you see any negative review prior to January 1, 2026, I would advise you to totally disregard it. The community center, formally the north Central Florida YMCA, is in the mid of a phenomenal metamorphosis. It is no longer a corporate enterprise with overpaid executives running the show. In fact, most of the people working there have been employees for the nine years that I have been a member. Under the leadership of the YMCA executives were paid high dollar salaries which meant nothing was available to maintain or improve the facilities. Now with the former employees running the show the transformation is astonishing. New lighting in the gym area makes it highly appealing as a location for die hard and novice exercise and weightlifting enthusiasts or beginners. Although the equipment isn't brand new the variety of different types of equipment allow for anyone to pick and choose which machine or free weight best meets their Need. Nothing goes unprepared and many younger men and women are beginning to join. It should be refreshing and motivating for a lot of the long time older members. If you have not been, I encourage you to visit. I mostly use the gym facilities but they also have a boxing ring area, basketball and Pickleball courts, and a very popular swimming pool. Compared to other gyms in town it is cost-effective. This gem deserves A visit. I've been working out for 57 years in gyms all over the world. It is convenient for me and it is also one of the best gyms I have ever joined.”
“Visiting Grace Marketplace was a deeply moving experience. Being there among people who are suffering from homelessness and living on the streets made me realize the true humanity of those who dedicate themselves to helping others. The staff and volunteers show incredible empathy, patience, and dedication, even when the situations they face are often very difficult.
I couldn’t help but cry for them—for everyone there. Each person has their own story, their own pain, and their own way of coping with life. Some may not handle it in the best ways, but it’s impossible to fully understand unless you’ve walked in their shoes.
Today I experienced this reality firsthand, and it touched my heart deeply. I can only pray for them and send blessings to all the people who continue to help with kindness, compassion, and a smile. Grace Marketplace is more than a shelter—it is a place of hope and humanity.”
“If you've got to take a dui course, its expensive, but the instructor for 12 hours is highly entertaining and they are easy to work with, as far as getting the paperwork you need completed.”
“This store always has the most respectful employees. We have been shopping at this location for years. The manager Dana always goes above and beyond to help us. On a recent visit, we were greeted by Terrance that was a happy, very professional (employee) that helped us load our purchases. Keep up the great work.”
“This place deserves a huge amount of support and recognition for all their hard work they do. My cat was having a hard time wasn’t even my cat but I got attacked and it needed to be fixed and they got me in the next day and carefully went over everything with me and I was blown away by the professionalism and the care this stray cat received. Thank God for People and organisations like this. I donated and I will continue to donate and I encourage everyone to donate to this wonderful organisation. Thank you so much Operation Catnip you’re a lifesaver.”
