“As far as thee bank inside goes, HOORAY, as far as your VM goes...BOO!!! THE LADY SPEAKING IS RUDE, CAN'T EVEN UNDERSTAND ENGLISH. I JUST LEFT THE BANK HAVING TO GET A NEW DEBIT CARD. I NEEDED TO SPEAK TO A TELLER AT THE LAKELAND BRANCH BECAUSE THAT IS THE ONLY NUMBER AVAILABLE TO SPEAK TO A Teller TODAY SAT. 6/21/26 It's too long of a story to bore you all with. BRING BACK THE HUMAN EMPLOYEES FOR ALL PHONE CONVERSATIONS. ENOUGH OF THE VOICEMAIL HELPERS!!!!!! I WANT TO SPEAK WITH A REAL HUMAN WHEN I CONTACT A BANK, NOT SOME VOICEMAIL, THAT WORKS FOR THE BANK. PLEASE LET ME SPEAK WITH A REAL LIVE EMPLOYEE, ESPECIALLY WHEN I AM TRUSTING YOU ALL TO GUARD MY FUNDS AND ALL OTHER TRANSACTIONS. I AM HANDICAPPED AND I HAD TO GO TO THE BANK TO GET A NEW DEBIT CARD AND THE TELLER SHUT THE OLDER DEBIT CARD DOWN ......AND THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO NOT LET ANY PAYMENTS GO THROUGH AND THEY THE BANK LET A TRANSACTION GO THROUGH ANYWAY??????? NOT GOOD.......2ND MISTAKE NOT LETTING ME SPEAK TO A LIVE PERSON TO HANDLE THIS MATTER ASAP WITH A LIVE PERSON ON THE PHONE??? PLEASE BRING BACK A REAL PERSON TO SPEAK TO WHEN WE ARE CALLING REGARDING OUR OWN MONEY!!! THANK YOU. THE END. MARYANN C.”

“I am truly very grateful for the excellent service received by the manager Jose Rodriguez. I was greatly affected by a decision made by the customer service department on my account, and despite visiting another branch that literally had no staff and the cashier could not help me; I felt like entering this branch in Haines City and this gentleman understood and made decisions that in less than 24 hours my situation with my account was resolved. I will be eternally grateful to him and I send great blessings to both him and the branch because today it is difficult to receive the banking services we received before and they, with all the mishaps they have to face on a daily basis; give their 150%. Highly recommended. They exceeded my expectations. And in this 2025 I wish you the best of the best. Thank you very much and millions of blessings.”

“Best bank ever! Many banks claim courtesy, but SouthState practices it. Always available to assist with questions and/or concerns. Well staffed, pleasant, and knowledgeable! I hope SouthState continues to expand geographically! Other banks should adopt their recipe for customer service!!”

“First I would like to recognize Ms. Linette Santana-Valle who is the senior banker in the Bank of America in Haines city Florida. The first time I went in she took me and I went through some information that I needed to change and she was able to help me with no problems, after explaining that I may need help with consolidating some of my credit after I move into my house and she offered a card that may help me. I went back a month later because I was drowning in debt and she went through the process with me, she was gentle with her words seeing me a hot mess crying and said don’t worry we are here for you every step of the way and was able to get it done with no issues whatsoever, I can’t thank her enough for first telling me about the options I may be able have, and planting that seed because I was going to make a mistake in getting a personal loan from somewhere else. This is the type of people we need in our banking systems. She is a gold star banker and would recommend her to anyone. Thank you Ms. Santana and her team for the work they do, much appreciated.”
