“I own a 2013 Cadillac Escalade EXT—an incredibly rare truck, with fewer than 2,000 produced that year. It’s a vehicle I truly love and plan to keep for the long haul, so when it came time to refresh the exterior, I wanted it done right. The front end had taken its share of wear—rock chips, lovebug damage—and I decided to repaint the hood, front bumper, and both fenders. I also installed an aftermarket CTS-V style hybrid hood (metal with a fiberglass scoop), which made finding the right body shop a challenge. Several shops I trusted wouldn’t even take on the job due to the fiberglass component. After getting a recommendation from a friend, I was introduced to H&R Autobody and connected with Harold, one of the owners. From the very first interaction, I could tell this was a different kind of shop. Harold was straightforward, knowledgeable, and honest—something that’s not always easy to find in this industry. He took the time to walk through my vision, offered thoughtful guidance, and even steered me away from ideas that wouldn’t hold up long-term—like painting certain plastic chrome components that would likely peel. That level of transparency meant a lot to me. We landed on a clean, sharp look by keeping the chrome and blacking out the mesh in the grille, and it turned out to be the perfect call. Throughout the process, communication was excellent. Harold kept me updated, reached out when they discovered additional items worth addressing, and made sure I was comfortable with every decision along the way. When I came to pick up the truck, I was honestly blown away. The finish, the attention to detail, the overall presentation—it exceeded my expectations in every way. It looked incredible. You could tell real pride went into the work. As for pricing, I’ll just say this: it was more than fair. In fact, comparable to—or even less than—what you might pay at a larger chain like Maaco, but with a significantly higher level of quality and craftsmanship. Given the level of care, communication, and results, I would have gladly paid more. What really sets H&R Autobody apart is their integrity. They’re not trying to upsell or cut corners—they take the time to explain the “why” behind their recommendations and genuinely want the best outcome for you and your vehicle. If you’re considering paint or body work, do yourself a favor and go see Harold and the team at H&R Autobody. Take a look at the projects they have in the shop, have a conversation—you’ll immediately feel the difference. I’ll absolutely be returning for future work and will confidently recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality, honest body work. This is one of those rare shops that truly earns your trust.”
