After we received a call the reservation was made , all delivery details were provided by the couriers services as you promised and it took about 4 hours for him to get to our newest airport then we got a call from them saying they will be at our doorstep in 20 minutes and before we knew it they got here and all I didn’t was signed some paperwork and show proof of ID and got her with the crate and food she came with along side her paperwork . I am so grateful and for that reason have recommended you to other friends hopefully they contact you to get their Christmas babies

The Pet Spot
872 SW Main Blvd, Lake CityI love this place! The only service we get is nail trimming, and they do a great job. They have never nicked the quick. All i have to do usually is call ahead, and they get us right in and out. They always cater to me and my fur baby by making sure there are no other dogs around when we enter and exit because my girl is very anxious and aggressive around other dogs. They know their stuff and seem to genuinely love dogs. I have tried all other places in L.C. and Pet Spot is the only place I will take Daisy.

The entire staff is amazing; they are attentive and fully answer all of our questions. The service fees and medication costs are appropriate for the times. They always make time for us when an emergent need is raised. Our dog is apprehensive around strangers but she loves going for appointments there. She's the first one in our when we tell her we're going and the first out of our car and to their front door when we get there.

222 Co Rd 252B, Lake CityI really want to take a moment to brag about Compassion Veterinary Hospital (formerly Addison Animal Hospital).
My sweet baby, Cinder had a growth pop up on her eye a few months ago. As a precaution, I wanted to get it look at as she has a history of cancer. The first place I went to was Suwannee Oaks, Cinders former vet. I was quoted about $780 to have the spot removed. For me personally, that’s a steep amount to just come up with on the spot, so I decided to look around. I called Compassion and scheduled an office visit.
Talk about a great first impression. I’m a busy gal with a full-time job and responsibilities. Taking off work for a vet visit isn’t easy for me. Compassion not only saw Cinder as a patient, but kept her for the day so I didn’t have to take off work, at no extra charge! But what really sold me is when I came to pick her up. The woman at the front desk gushed over my baby and even showed me a cute video she took of Cinder, burying herself under a blanket they gave her. When I asked about the surgery, they told me they could do it and for a far more reasonable price. I immediately scheduled the surgery.
When I returned to Compassions for Cinders surgery, the first thing I noticed is how thorough everyone is. The front desk greeted me and confirmed my phone number so they could text me with updates on Cinders surgery (which I LOVED). The vet tech who brought Cinder back asked me for a full history and if she had any previous illnesses. I told her I suspected she may have a UTI due to recent symptoms I noticed. From there, I left my baby with them and waited to hear back.
It wasn’t long after drop off that I received a text from them letting me know that everything went well. I was told to come back around 4pm to pick her up. Now here comes the good part. It was only $480. For $480, they not only removed her growth, but that included pain meds, a cone, a nail trim, and antibiotics for the UTI that I had suspected. I saved $300 and anything I thought needed to be cared for my baby was addressed. I felt comfortable leaving her with them and relieved with the updates they sent me.
Overall, I will be transferring my dogs medical records to Compassion and recommend them to anyone who needs a vet. Thank you Compassion Veterinary Hospital Team!

432 SE Stardust Pl, Lake CityHands down the BEST doggie daycare in town! I started my pup in daycare 4 days per week January of this year (2025) and oh what a difference it made. My pup was just 6 months old at the time and full of energy. Wise Dogs and Paws is the perfect outlet for him. The care that is shown for my pup is top notch! He is treated as if he is one of their own. Recently they were closed for vacation (how dare they) and I can honestly say I saw a change in my pups demeanor. He missed them. He was so set in his daily routine and now it was altered. Today was his first day back after only a week apart and oh the joy!!! I came home to a different dog. He was back to his spunky self again. Dogs understand more than we give them credit for. He didn’t know why he wasn’t seeing his other favorite people and furry friends for the past week but he definitely missed them and it showed. He’s now curled up, tired from his busy day playing and is letting me know he’s ready for bed, to dream of what tomorrow will bring! Thank you wise Dogs and Paws for welcoming us into your family and we are forever grateful for the love and care you provide.

I visited a few Mexican spots before landing at El Potro Mexican Restaurant in Lake City, and I’m so glad I did.
From the moment I walked in, Ms. Irma (the hostess on duty) took care of me. She made sure I understood what was happening, walked me through different options, and honestly… she heard what I was trying to say even when I didn’t fully know what to ask for. I knew what I needed, but I didn’t have all the “catering language,” and she helped me put it together into a package that was perfect.
The restaurant itself was nicely renovated, very clean, and had a smooth flow, and she even invited me to bring my team in, Irma said she’d love to host my party of 60.
What really sealed it for me was her professionalism. She gave me a clean, easy-to-read quote, with everything clearly laid out. And even though they don’t normally offer delivery, she made an exception and made it happen, and that made the entire order feel effortless.
And let’s talk about the food: it was an absolute hit. My team loved it. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and top-tier, great food and great service.
If you’re ever in Lake City, Florida, and you want amazing Mexican food, or you need catering done the right way, El Potro is the spot.
