“I learned of this hotel a few years back when I ate at the restaurant (see my earlier review restaurant is amazing also). Arriving at this hotel, parking was a little confusing but I'll blame it on the construction in the area and not take a star off. The lobby, rooms and amenities were clean, modern and simple. I didn't take many pictures of the room but they were very nice. The price was kind of steep per night but not overpriced for what was offered and it being the Florida Classic weekend. I would recommend.”

“The room was very clean and nice. I was not expecting it to be as nice as it was. The staff was also very friendly. I would definitely stay here again. The only negative I have is that there is no complimentary breakfast which wouldn’t be a problem if the breakfast I paid for wasn’t so bad. The breakfast they served me tasted like it had been sitting around for a while, definitely not worth the $20+ I spent.”

“They have a cool environment, everyone seems very friendly, clean place, indoor bar with all the liquors. Friendly service. I had gone for the dance, DJ played good music lots of Latin and salsa. Mostly, good dance music. He was thoroughly enjoying his music too”

“I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights (mostly business, partly vacation). The hotel's staff was amazing. From when I first arrived until my departure, they were friendly and helpful.My view was not much of anything, but I appreciated the effort.I didn't care for the room service food, but it's likely my preference. Also, room service is only available between 5pm and 10pm, which is unfortunate if you fly in late or want breakfast.If I'm being honest, the rooms were fine. They could have been better but they weren't bad. The floor plan was a bit odd though (e.g. mini fridge under the bathroom sink).It was quiet until Friday night and Saturday morning. I imagine more tourists around for the weekend.The location is great. It was ~15 minutes from Universal and about 30 minutes from Disney.”

“NO BED BUGS!!!! Clean hotel, friendly staff, I say again ZERO BED BUGS!!! I’ve experienced them before so that’s my number one thing. A bedbug free hotel in Orlando is hard to find so if that’s your priority, give this place a go.”

“I try to stay in as many Hilton properties as I can (want those points !!) but lately I've seen a trend in that the incorrect color of the lighting in the rooms is wrong. Hilton standards are that the CCT (correlated color temperature) of room lighting should be no more than 35K, preferably 30K. The recessed lighting, desk lamp and bedside lamp all had the harsh stark white 50K lamp color. Thankfully the illuminated mirror in the bathroom had the correct color lighting. Hope they correct it for lighting engineers like myself who notice things like this...”

“I was very pleased with this hotel. It was clean, they cleaned the rooms everyday, the entire staff was friendly and it was right offInterstate 4. There is an iron/ironing board, hair dryer, mini fridge, and microwave in every room. It was too cold to swim but the pool was well maintained.I wished it served a hot breakfast but it did advertise a continental breakfast. It includes two waffle irons, hard boiled eggs, and various baked goods along with Coffee, milk, orange and apple juice.There is a Perkins and local Mexican restaurant called Cancun right next door.If I ever return I would not hesitate to stay here.”

“I liked the hotel with convenient parking and a location that was conductive to the area I worked this time. I wish they had some type of breakfast for the staff instead of just a food market selling sandwiches that did not have any turkey or chicken products, just pork. With all of the diverse people you have visit the Orlando area and from around the world, you have to provide a diverse menu being sensitive to everyone's dietary needs.”

“Noticed a couple of bugs on my first day but none after that. The kitchenette is well equipped with everything you could imagine. Low occupancy hotel which I appreciated. Good location which was nearby to all essential locations. Gym was closed unfortunately.”

“It's a nice little motel. It has a kit of retro charm. It dates back to being once Howard Johnson's motel you can tell when you see the restaurant that used to be the office. This motel is on nice property has a nice lake. And it's not over ran by tourists like the motels near Florida mall. Yet it's close to I 4 and all the sites. I recommend this motel. I was very nice”

“Had to edit existing post to give updates!Still an AMAZING hotel and staff is wonderful. Helped me with everything and was accommodating to all my needs. Have to point out 4 top team members for ? superb customer service:Chris: helped ease my anxiety and gave assurance when I kept calling (out of state visit). Also, made sure I got the room that was requested.Nikki: love her. She was a pleasure when checking in late. Even warned me about the key card deactivating. It happened and I had to go to her. We laughed and she got me all taken care of.Emma and Ann: housekeepers. We're the best. They were like my Aunties. Took care of my party even after services were taken care of. Laughed, conversated and was told if I need anything to just let them know.Long review cut short, this staff and location is why I have only roomed here when I visit FL for the past 3 years. See you all again in 2024!Rooms: The new mirrors with built-in lights was a great idea and helped with the small details when getting ready each moring before heading out.”

“This hotel is not worth your money is a huge deception the room I reserved had hairs in the shower and the hot tub, It was very disgusting I couldn't take a shower, the chairs in the room had mold,the breakfast was depressing I tried to get apple juice and it was giving water instead,everything was bad I think inmates in jails eat better, don't go there ever”

“I wish I could give negative amount of stars, because I just checked in and was greeted with blasting loud music outside and in the lobby, then we had to wait for they to figure out what room was clean (it was 10pm) and they still didn't have a mechanism to keep track of that. Then, it went down, as I went up to my room , the strong weird smell (feels like they tried (and failed) to cover for past smokers (on a non-smoking room), and the bathroom looked disgusting (water rusting on the toilet, shower tub poorly maintained and a disastrous looking iron board, and to top it all off, the attendant was unable to make any effort to get me to another room when I asked as I noticed a full roll of empty rooms in the hotel. No wonder why it was empty, probably those other rooms might have been in worse condition, but this last observation is just me rationalizing accepting what I couldn't change at this late time, next time I need to do a better job vetting where I stay.”
