Lexington by Hotel RL Miami Beach offers a good location directly on the beach, with convenient access to public transportation including a bus and trolley stop right in front. The beach provides umbrellas and chairs for guests. The hotel represents good value for money, with some noting renovated rooms and consistent price-to-quality ratio. However, the building and some rooms could use updating. Service is hit or miss, with some staff being very accommodating, friendly, and kind, while others do not go out of their way. There is no restaurant, bell service, or food and drinks available on-site, only vending machines. Amenities can be limited, with reports of the pool and outside bar being closed. Parking in front is paid separately. A very strange smell was noted at reception, and there were minor noise issues. Most seriously, a guest reported stolen personal effects from their room, casting a shadow on an otherwise positive stay.
Very old, noisy, with people in and out of the rooms way past midnight. Not to forget very loud with opening and closing doors.

Nice hotel in Miami beach. Price was reasonable. Room was clean and service at counter was good. Work was being done on the outside of the building. Super close to beach.
