I had an inquiry about an item, and maintenance arrived immediately to assist. The gym on the 6th floor with city views and the free morning coffee are awesome. “Lived in Sunset Gardens for two years, I would have stayed but had to move to be closer to my job. The staff there are great. From maintenance to the office. If you have an issue, things were fixed in a timely manner.
Only downside was the flooding. If it rained hard, even for a few hours the parking lot does flood in certain areas which was a little bit annoying. But at the end of the day, it’s still the best apartment complex I’ve lived in”

Maria is the friendliest and most responsive member of their team! You can find her around the lobby making sure everyone is having a great time at the building helping coordinate the next fun social event for residents.
Jonatan and Jessica are also very helpful with service requests and making sure anything you need to be fixed is taken care of immediately.
Safe building, amazing team, and top of the line amenities.

“Soma is a great building overall with a few areas that need improvement. The neighbors and staff are friendly, the location is excellent, and the building is generally quiet. Having Publix right next door makes grocery shopping incredibly convenient, and Brickell City Centre is only about a 5–10 minute walk.
The apartments themselves are very nice. I live in a corner one-bedroom unit with a large balcony and beautiful sunset views. It includes a washer and dryer, dishwasher, and the valet trash service is very convenient. The rooftop amenities are a big highlight - pool, basketball court, theater, pool tables, and a gym (though the gym needs attention).
The gym is one of the main issues. Weights are often left all over the floor, and equipment isn’t returned properly. It’s frustrating having to search for things during workouts. This could be improved with better enforcement of gym etiquette or more frequent maintenance checks by staff.
The package room is also difficult to navigate. Even when delivery drivers provide photos of where packages are placed, they’re often moved or not in the designated area, making them hard to find.
The keyless smartphone app for building access can be problematic. If your phone dies, there’s no reliable backup option, which could leave residents locked out and facing a $150 locksmith fee. A physical backup solution would be a huge improvement.
Another major concern is being required to use Xfinity for internet. The service has frequent outages, and customer support has been disappointing. Despite paying $70/month, the reliability doesn’t match the cost. Residents should have the option to choose their own provider instead of having this bundled into rent.
Overall, these issues are fixable, and despite them, I’m still comfortable and happy living here.

“We moved in last week and we’re loving it here. The community is super clean, everyone we’ve met has been so friendly, and the amenities are great. The only small downsides are the guest parking - unfortunately people are abusing it & park there for days in a row, pet owners dont clean up after their pets in the pet areas - not really the properties fault as there are dog bag stations every 5 feet, & every time we have been downstairs the lobby bathrooms + back bathrooms are always locked - if someone at the pool, gym, or using the BBQ has to use the bathroom they have to go all the way up to their apartment which is very inconvenient. Other than that it’s been amazing. We don’t hear our neighbors at all, everyone seems to be respectful, and maintenance was really quick when needed. Totally recommend it for the location and price!”
“Almost 1 full year living here. Overall amazing place to live. Building is secure, super clean. Best HOA so far that I lived in Miami. Gym, pools - amazing. You won't go wrong with moving here. There is HOA office in the building and 2 ladies working there are super helpful.
Not giving 5 stars because of 2 small things:
1. Bike room is unusable. It's full, looks like there are some rusted bikes in there that someone hasn't touched for years. Even if you find an empty space, you gotta hang the bike by a front wheel - impossible for electric bikes, they are too heavy. So I see people with electric scooters in the evelator and storing them in their apartment (forbidden to have bike in the balcony). That's fire hazard to me and the main reason why buildings like this should have a proper bike station!!!
2. Post office. So when your, say Amazon order arrives, it goes to a mini post office in the building. It then gets processed and you get an email that you have a box to pick up. But that takes time... Like I got Amazon notification on Friday morning that my order got delivered, but Saturday evening time, it was still not processed. So if you need something urgently, this is some extra bureaucracy. One lady working there is very nice and let me look for my package, but other guy and another lady won't give you the package if it's not in the system even though it arrived 30 hours ago! And except that one lady, they are kinda rude. I don't get why I have to deal with this. I don't mind having my box stolen once a year or so as long as it saves me this extra interaction with moody people. ?”
