I went in as an anxious cat mom and left with peace of mind my cat was going to be okay. The vet, techs, and reception staff were all very kind and helpful. “Great experience from start to finish, I brought my 15lb Cavachon to the Plantation location for teeth cleaning, able to save $50 instead of house visit. Our dog is a little anxious at vet, groomer, told she was shaking a little at first at HealthySmiles, but able to control well with towel wrap and able to complete teeth cleaning safely. Debrief at the end was excellent, Natalia took her time to show before/after pictures and some pictures during cleaning. She explained plaque/tartar buildup and how to brush teeth at home and prevent buildup in the future. They told me that we can consider calming treats or sedating oral medication in the future visits, but our dog did great. Highly recommended! :)”
“Dr. L is one of the best out there! She is compassionate and truly cares about every animal that comes in. My JRT had been having some strange episodes of losing his balance and Dr. L along with vet tech Macey, were amazing. It is obvious they love what they do! I wish I could put into words the the immense gratitude I feel for Doc, Sue and his entire staff. He has SAVED two of my babies. When everyone else was ready to give up on my Japanese Akita due to seizures, Dr. Hardy saw he still had energy to fight and my boy is still here.
For my feline angel, I can’t yet talk about it since he left us about two months ago but the memory of him being cared for by Dr. Hardy, Sue, Katya and the beautiful team brings solace to my heart.
Dr.Hardy went above and beyond, more than I would expect from my own family. His humanity, kindness and the love he has for our fur babies is unmatched.

“Finally found a good primary vet for our dogs. I've been through so many I wasnt happy with. Receptionist is wonderful, Dr Pou was very friendly, on point and LISTENS. Its an hour from my house but worth the drive. Free first visit so you have nothing to lose and I can tell these people are genuine and not trying to upsell things you don't need.”

“My husband and I have been looking for a Vet for our bunny of 3 years who is our everything and our little princess. After 2 vets who we didn’t feel comfortable with, we thank God for leading us here to Paws and Claws. The staff were absolutely amazing especially Ashley and Jessica and Deville. We were greeted by Ashley and she had such a sweet and happy spirit which immediately made us feel as home. Jessica was kind care compassionate and gave us so much information during our visit that we immediately knew this would be our new home vet for our baby Becky. I have mostly dealt with Dr Lerner who has been very caring and is extremely knowledgeable, always able to explain everything and share a lot of information, which I value greatly. He was instrumental in properly diagnosing my cat with cancer, which allowed me to get him the proper treatment, saving his life. Dr. Mendez is very sweet and also very knowledgeable and caring. The entire staff is super friendly and responsive and their care is very personal, but always professional.”
