We checked in a few days ago and experienced a minor issue with our online booking, but Fritzner resolved it promptly the next day and offered us the best possible option for our family. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious. Every member of the staff we encountered was courteous and attentive. Our week here was truly amazing and unforgettable.

“Nice staff. The room was clean for South Beach standards, of course no comparison to a German hotel, but you have to be clear about that beforehand.
The location is ideal for travelers who want to spend a lot of time on the beach. Shops and smaller restaurants are all within a 2-minute walk. For travelers who want to spend a lot of time in beautiful downtown Miami or Brickell, I do not recommend a hotel in Miami Beach.
All in all, I was very satisfied and can only recommend this hotel.
Rooms: Nice and big and very clean for Miami Beach standards
Nearby activities: There are more than enough options in the running environment. Supermarkets and eating options can be reached within 2 minutes
Safety: You feel comfortable in the room. Sometimes there are non-guests sitting on the chairs in front of the door, nothing worrying but this should be checked more often.
Walkability: Everything is within reach.
Food and drinks: Breakfast tastes good and the cocktails are interestingly designed - nothing is run of the mill there
Noteworthy details: The mood is pretty good in the lobby. Both young and older people from the USA and all over the world spend their vacation there.”

“Some consider it the best hotel in America. I can safely tell you it’s not even the best in Florida. ?
The FS in Palm Beach & Orlando are legit 5-star properties, but this one was a let down, and for $1,700/night. Yes.
If you go, go in high season, because in the summer it’s quite clear, they’re not very interested in you. It’s not a world class experience in low season.
We had cold interactions with the gentleman on their side entrance off Collins (not main entrance). He continually disagreed with everything I said. It was really weird.
No open doors to vehicle or hotel entry.
He shouldn’t be interacting with guests. Just a strange guy.
Front desk agent was not warm and genuine in anything. She acted like the assistant to a successful personal injury attorney, and looked like one too. Didn’t smile at all.
Great breakfast. Best orange juice I’ve ever had. Waiter was from Italy. Good guy, but his service style is very European, so you hardly ever see him, which was strange. But a real good guy.
Hotel was quiet in late July.
Pool layout is very strange. Kids pool was actually colder than adult pool. No hot tubs.

Bottom of doors rusted out, hallways dark and drab.
Saw pool and beach employees giving each other back rubs, consistently scrolling on their phones, standing around doing nothing.
Saw bartenders at Winston’s laughing loudly watching social media videos behind the bar.
Food was very good, as expected.
Decor in hotel is amazing and the sense of place is great. Room (ocean view studio - 700 sq feet) was beautiful and comfortable, but way overpriced for the summer) I actually paid to upgrade so paid like $2,200 for it.
Definitely not worth it. Is FS pricing you out? Yes, probably.
Called once for valet but they forgot to tell the valet.
Front door guys were all good though and friendly.
Waited 20 minutes for vehicle though at 6:30am checkout the next day, which seemed long.
***kayla at the pool was fantastic. She engaged with our kids and went out of her way to bring pool toys and even make a peanut butter jelly with the jam from the employee dining room

Everyone else was forgettable.
It was a solid 4 star exp at 5 star/2 Michelin key prices.
If you have kids, don’t come here, go to 1 Hotel, Fontainebleau, or maybe stay north (where it’s still America) and go to FS Palm Beach or The Breakers.
FS Surfside is ideal for a romantic getaway, but for these prices, just go to the Bahamas or Turks & Caicos and get better beaches and more relaxation.

The establishment is beautiful, the patio and the atmosphere are select and elegant.
We came for a Sunday brunch.
A lot of variety of dishes, all unlimited.
From lobster tail to caviar, through meats, sushis, desserts... all delicious ?‼️
But the service... a disaster??and given the price (160E per person), I find it embarrassing??‼️
I will not return ??but I recommend the experience ?”
“I came here for a work conference. The hotel was beautiful from the smell as soon as walked in, to the cleanliness and the helpful staff. The conference rooms were huge and the staff helping with the conference were amazing. I gave some dietary restrictions and they were so kind and accommodating. They brought me special meals whenever I wasn’t able to eat anything off the conference menu.
The hotel is on Collins Ave. - Close to Ocean drive. There are numerous restaurants and shops around the great location.
I’d come back here!”

The lobby and hallway made me feel j was at an art museum.
Food and drinks: We stopped by for a drink and the bartender was amazing. He taught us quite a bit about special wines they procure from boutique vineyards.”

“I went to dinner as a couple. What caught my attention the most was the floral atmosphere they have throughout the hotel and reception. Perfect harmony of colors and design of floral arrangements. “The room seemed a bit “cold” and not very homely and overall the area didn’t look as brightly fresh and colorful as in the photos, but it was clean, safe and the staff were friendly. Very good value for money with a relatively good location. We would come back.”

“Nice, well-kept hotel in a good location. It is visible that it is no longer quite there. But everything is very clean and there is nothing to complain about in the room. Anything missing can be reordered, the service works great! We had the concierge reserve a table for us at a nearby steakhouse. We were even driven there from the hotel. We feel very comfortable!”

“Beautiful property in a great location in South Beach. Everyone was friendly. Fun pool experiences. Great Bonvoy plat+ elite recognition with breakfast benefit, free prosecco and pool cabanas, etc. Food was much better than expected. Interesting fitness center. Pool shuts down by the evening so noise was not an issue at night.
Room service was superficial- forgot to restock towels and minibar, left bagged trash behind. Breakfast service was exceedingly slow early in the week. Rooms were quite small.
Overall an excellent boutique hotel for the younger crowd. Better service and amenities than one would expect at a very competitive price for the location. This is what Moxy wishes it was.
Big kudos to the front desk staff especially Jose for being friendly and accommodating.”

“What an awesome stay! We especially enjoyed the daily complimentary activities (smoothies, sangrias, etc) and happy hours. The bartender is always so cheerful which lights up our day everyday.
The location is excellent! It’s right next to the beach and we walk out every day for lunch and dinner spots nearby.
The room is very clean with good sound proof and nice layout. There’s even a beach cart in the room with two chairs and an umbrella. We enjoyed our afternoon on the beach with the cart carrying everything.
All the staff is friendly and helpful. Would love to come back here in the future.

“We really liked our 1 bedroom suite. We had a balcony, which was nice. We knew we had a full kitchen going into the trip, but were pleasantly surprised to see it was pretty well stocked with the essentials to be able to cook/eat while there. The valet was seamless. We would call for our car in the room and walk down and most times it was sitting there waiting for us. 24 hour valet too, which was nice for our early mornings and late nights. No complaints, and we would likely stay here again if we decide to come back.”

Repairs are always done professionally with high standards of care and everything is always explained in detail. Super clean room, comfortable bed, great shower, with shampoo and conditioner, thankful for the shuttle, the driver was great, getting to the shuttle at the Miami Airport was CRAZY! alot of traffic, we had a good driver that new what he was doing, we were also provided with a ride to the cruise port, breakfast was good, basic eggs, potatoes, waffles, oatmeal ect.... Great stay for us, wouldn't stay anywhere else but Hampton (Hilton)”
