She is so smart and provides guidance that is rooted in educated facts. She takes to educate on what your pet is going through.

The took the time to listen to my daughter's concerns about her kittens and made recommendations. They followed up afterward to see how the kittens were after their vaccinations- never had that happen before! Reasonably priced, too, No surprises - clear and simple. Would highly recommend - love that they have a lot of vets on staff and the techs are amazing. So glad we found them.”

Dr Woodley is absolutely amazing!
We unfortunately had to put one of cats down not too long ago.
Dr Woodley talked and walked us through the entire process.
We walked in crying and we left crying but we knew it was the only right thing to do for our sweet Zena.
She left us alone with Zena before the procedure and when it was over, she told us to stay as long as we needed to say goodbye to our baby girl.
Dr. Woodley is without a doubt one of the kindest and most compassionate people you will ever meet.

“A day after Hurricane Milton, my dog was in a lot of pain and most of the other animal hospitals in the county were closed. St Pete Veterinary Hospital got me in for a same day appointment. Their reception staff, technician, and veterinarian were great to work with and I can tell they genuinely care about their patients. The staff called to check on him the next day and the veterinarian called me for a follow up as well to hear how he was doing. The prices are fair and the care is exceptional. I really appreciate you all!”
“Where do I begin! I promise it will be worth the read. And if you're looking for a new Vet Hopefully you will RUN to get established with Sunset Point Animal Hospital.
I switched over to Dr. Freeman about a year ago with my two labs; Paisley(7) and Myla(8). My mom met him at Calvary High School in Clearwater and told me I HAD to go get established with him. A year later, I feel so grateful because I'm not sure Myla would be alive right now if I hadn't. A Vet you're confident is irreplaceable and invaluable.
The Back Story: Myla hurt her hind leg just before Hurricane Milton but was unable to be seen until we came back due to evacuation. In the mean time, I tried to give her Carprofen I had on hand from Paisleys leg injury last year. I called on Friday feeling desperate for her to be seen as we drove home and they kindly squeezed me in. We started her on a treatment plan for her back knee and followed up close the following week.
Over the next several days Myla stopped eating and didn't seem like herself. Her knee seemed to be getting better but she was looking physically worse. Dr. Freeman ran some labs and took an X-ray of her belly. During his assessment he picked up on a VERY faint yellow tinge in her eyes that wasn't there the previous week. She was in liver shock.
Things got scary really quick, we had to discuss the possibility of cancer/a tumor and even the need to euthanize. As hard as it was to hear; He was soo gentle with his delivery and provided many options for how to proceed. He allowed me time to talk things out WITH him and we decided to keep Myla in his office overnight (where she was loved and comfortable) on IV Fluids to wait for his friend/college Dr. Weaver (who does traveling work) to come to his office for an emergent Liver Ultrasound the following day.
Dr. Freeman went in multiple times throughout the night to check on Myla and take her out for potty breaks. He sent me videos and emailed me with updates to ease my mind. I seriously don't think he slept.
The following day was one of the hardest days. His staff set me up in a little room where I could hang out with Myla while we waited for Dr. Weaver do an Ultrasound on her Liver. We got good news, it wasn't cancer! However, we dont know what caused this acute liver shock.
We are still in the process of figuring things out BUT Myla is making improvements and is able to ride out her sickness in the comfort of her own home. She is on IV Fluids around the clock. (So grateful they allowed me to come home and manager her here). She ate through an IV overnight and the office squeezed me in for a new IV.
I wish I could show you all his report cards from each visit. There is so much attention to detail and descriptive instructions about things we talk about in the appointment to reference back to.
Having a sick pup is so nerve wrecking but I have felt so much peace and confidence with Myla being in the hands of every single staff member at Sunset Point Animal Hospital.
I have to give a super SPECIAL thank you to Josie and Danielle. For all of the hugs, the help, the water, the tissues, the pee pads, the blankets and most importantly; for loving on Myla all day when I wasn't there. I never worried about her once knowing she had you!!!
I pray Myla makes a full recovery. She is in the BEST hands and getting the BEST care possible.

“The people that work here truly care about your pets and the owners! I took my dog here to get spayed because my previous vet wanted to charge me almost triple what this clinic does. After the incredible experience I had with them for her spaying I immediately changed vets They are so kind, attentive. They also don't over schedule their staff so I'm never waiting for more than 5 minutes when I have an appointment. Anytime I call for random questions or concerns they take their time and I can be on the phone with them for 10-20 minutes and never brushed off. Can't say enough great things about this place and their staff!”

“I have been coming here ever since I was a child, and my mom had ever since she was a teenager. We have brought ferrets, dogs, and birds and always received such great, caring service.
Last year, I adopted my first dog on my own, and of course there was no other vet I’d take her to. Not even two months ago, I brought her in to get her annual vaccines when Dr. Brooks noticed some lumps in her mammary glands. It is something that I probably never would have noticed on my own. He walked us through what it could be, as well as what we would have to do to test them. With the probability of it being cancer, and with my financial situation, I was heartbroken and preparing for the worst, but the entire team handled this situation with so much grace and they were extremely understanding and able to work with us.
All of her diagnostic tests and surgery were done in just a few weeks without any complications. We got her stitches removed yesterday and I am so so thankful for Dr. Brooks and the entire team here. Sticky has been doing so well, and the cancer was caught before it had the chance to progress. I can’t even explain the relief I feel for getting to have more time with my baby. We owe it all to everyone here for catching it and removing it with such swiftness and care. I could not recommend them enough.”
