“I enjoyed my stay. Great location by the way.... I came here for a special event hosted by CARIBBEAN TRAVEL QUEEN. (follow her on IG for the best vacation experience) The room was clean however, hair was in the bed and the water not going down properly was my only complaint. Staff was extremely nice and welcoming. Breakfast was good as well. Overall I would definitely stay again.”

“I am a frequent visitor & I just love the stay here. For starters it is close to my travel destination for school/work. Also, it’s in a very great area with lots of activities/food places around. The service here is phenomenal!!! Taylor always have fun energy and exceptional quality of service! Toya is also so sweet and makes sure we get what we need! I love staying here because of the breakfast as well, the breakfast potatoes have me full for hours ? The rooms are clean and the upkeep of the hotel is great! I’d 100/10 stay again!!”
“PROS: I love that I was offered an option to check in online and set up a digital key on my phone to get into the room. If you check in this way it also gives you a chance to view the hotel layout and choose your room, which I thought was pretty cool.I received a text message the morning of check in with a very nice welcome message and they asked if there was anything they could do for me before my arrival. I’ve never had a hotel do that before. I felt valued. The TV screen had a welcome message with my name on it. I thought that was pretty neat too ! They also had two complimentary bottles of water for us. The room was clean and I loved the storage space. They have a wall full of hooks which made it easy to hang up bags. I also appreciate that they don’t use carpets in their room as they can be so unhygienic.Breakfast was included and it was great ! They even had extra toppings for pancakes like caramel and chocolate drizzle and sprinkles.The lobby had an inviting feel to it. Lounge area for guests, foosball tables, and a snack and coffee bar.I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.Cons: The hotel door kept getting stuck. When I first arrived I was excited to bypass the front desk and go straight to my room but I ended up needing to go to the front desk to ask for help getting into my room because I thought my digital key wasn’t working. Turns out you just have to push the door extra hard to get it open. It was very difficult opening the door from the inside as well. I had to pull with all my might to yank that thing open. Every single time!!! I only stayed one night so it didn’t bother me much, but for a multiple night stay this might really become annoying.”
“I recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Jacksonville Butler Blvd, and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel staff was wonderful—everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which really made a positive impression.
That said, there are a few areas that could use some improvement. The gym is quite small and could use upgrades. There are only three treadmills, and during our stay one was out of order, which meant waiting for equipment to become available.
It also would have been helpful to know at the time of booking that the parking lot was being repaved. With only one entrance and exit, it made getting in and out challenging—especially when driving a larger 4x4 truck, as we had to either drive onto the curb or over the orange cones to access the lot.
Lastly, the elevator could use some attention. The wall paneling was bowed out, and there was a loud whirring noise when traveling to the upper floors, which was a bit concerning.
Overall, the staff and service were excellent, and with a few updates and better communication, this property could be even better. I would still consider staying here again.”

They are both excellent assets to your hotel. My family and I likely will return because of them!We also thought the breakfast was great. Staff there was courteous, and the operation was well run. “We traveled from Minnesota, and the experience was wonderful from the start. Our room was ready a few hours early, which was such a pleasant surprise after a long drive. The front desk staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the room itself was spotless. We also appreciated the thoughtful touch of having Dove products in the bathroom. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.”

“This is a truly fantastic hotel. I really love the peaceful atmosphere here. I felt relaxed and welcomed from the moment I arrived. Ideal place to forget about the stresses of daily life. It exceeded all my expectations. The room was not only cozy, quiet and clean but also very comfortable with black out curtains and a spotless and immaculate bathroom. Great free Wi-Fi and TV selection was wonderful. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, especially Tina, Gina, Sandy and Liz. Security guard Joseph was super nice and gave me ease of mind. Helped me to my car each time. The location was great. Close to UNF, St. John’s Town Center and many restaurants. Will definitely be back!”

“The check-in process was fast, and lots of parking was available. Dont get me wrong, you might walk far. Rooms were decent size, and the workers were all nice. Nice kitchenette, but we didn't use the facilities. Breakfast is served from 6:30 am - 9 am. Have your ticket ready as they will ask for it. Overall, it was great accommodations for an overnighter.”
“We were in Jacksonville for a week for the Mayo Clinic. The location was great! The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the kitchen was perfect so we didn't have to dine out for all the meals. There was one night when other guests were being very loud after midnight and the staff were great at handling it quickly. If we end up in Jacksonville again I would absolutely stay here again.”

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Good view from room. Walking/running path nearby. Not super updated. It is very clean. Never had an issue while I was staying there.”

“The floor was black and turned our white socks filthy. Under the bed and under the recliner had never been cleaned and it was filthy. There were sugar ants all over the kitchen and they tried once but it never was resolved. The two burner stove top had no oven and the burners hardly worked even after replacing them. This property is definitely extremely old and needs an upgrade. The ceilings in the Halls had water leaks. The property was never walked and cleaned so that was trash everywhere.”

She is funny and sets up Pictionary or uno, which at first, you hesitate, but then realize it’s hilarious fun all night long! Especially when you’re traveling for work. She needs a raise!!
