“I travel to Jax often to visit friends and for work and this was my first time staying here. I initially booked thru Expedia however they couldn't pull up my reservation at check in. The front desk staff was super helpful and was able to book me a room cheaper thru the front desk. Room was clean, AC worked great, staff I encountered were very helpful and parking was easy and accessible to the rooms. This is a great area right off I- 295. Plenty of food options nearby as well as gas stations, grocery stores and other shops you might need. Overall a great location. I was a bit nervous being so close to the interstate but not a difficult stay at all and very affordable. Will definitely stay here again.”

“I enjoyed my stay. Great location by the way.... I came here for a special event hosted by CARIBBEAN TRAVEL QUEEN. (follow her on IG for the best vacation experience) The room was clean however, hair was in the bed and the water not going down properly was my only complaint. Staff was extremely nice and welcoming. Breakfast was good as well. Overall I would definitely stay again.”

“I am a frequent visitor & I just love the stay here. For starters it is close to my travel destination for school/work. Also, it’s in a very great area with lots of activities/food places around. The service here is phenomenal!!! Taylor always have fun energy and exceptional quality of service! Toya is also so sweet and makes sure we get what we need! I love staying here because of the breakfast as well, the breakfast potatoes have me full for hours ? The rooms are clean and the upkeep of the hotel is great! I’d 100/10 stay again!!”

“Stayed at many Embassy Suites and this is just as nice. Most rooms face the open lobby. Great chef cooking omlets, the buffet side is very clean and nicely laid out. Disappointed in the managers reception, this is the second Embassy that now has fixed drinks, and the 1st of the two where you can't upgrade for a small price. I would bet even if they did that Disaronno wouldn't be offered. I still would recommend staying here.”
“I recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Jacksonville Butler Blvd, and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel staff was wonderful—everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which really made a positive impression.
That said, there are a few areas that could use some improvement. The gym is quite small and could use upgrades. There are only three treadmills, and during our stay one was out of order, which meant waiting for equipment to become available.
It also would have been helpful to know at the time of booking that the parking lot was being repaved. With only one entrance and exit, it made getting in and out challenging—especially when driving a larger 4x4 truck, as we had to either drive onto the curb or over the orange cones to access the lot.
Lastly, the elevator could use some attention. The wall paneling was bowed out, and there was a loud whirring noise when traveling to the upper floors, which was a bit concerning.
Overall, the staff and service were excellent, and with a few updates and better communication, this property could be even better. I would still consider staying here again.”

“We traveled from Minnesota, and the experience was wonderful from the start. Our room was ready a few hours early, which was such a pleasant surprise after a long drive. The front desk staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the room itself was spotless. We also appreciated the thoughtful touch of having Dove products in the bathroom. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.”

“This is a truly fantastic hotel. I really love the peaceful atmosphere here. I felt relaxed and welcomed from the moment I arrived. Ideal place to forget about the stresses of daily life. It exceeded all my expectations. The room was not only cozy, quiet and clean but also very comfortable with black out curtains and a spotless and immaculate bathroom. Great free Wi-Fi and TV selection was wonderful. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, especially Tina, Gina, Sandy and Liz. Security guard Joseph was super nice and gave me ease of mind. Helped me to my car each time. The location was great. Close to UNF, St. John’s Town Center and many restaurants. Will definitely be back!”

“The check-in process was fast, and lots of parking was available. Dont get me wrong, you might walk far. Rooms were decent size, and the workers were all nice. Nice kitchenette, but we didn't use the facilities. Breakfast is served from 6:30 am - 9 am. Have your ticket ready as they will ask for it. Overall, it was great accommodations for an overnighter.”
“We were in Jacksonville for a week for the Mayo Clinic. The location was great! The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the kitchen was perfect so we didn't have to dine out for all the meals. There was one night when other guests were being very loud after midnight and the staff were great at handling it quickly. If we end up in Jacksonville again I would absolutely stay here again.”

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Good view from room. Walking/running path nearby. Not super updated. It is very clean. Never had an issue while I was staying there.”

“The floor was black and turned our white socks filthy. Under the bed and under the recliner had never been cleaned and it was filthy. There were sugar ants all over the kitchen and they tried once but it never was resolved. The two burner stove top had no oven and the burners hardly worked even after replacing them. This property is definitely extremely old and needs an upgrade. The ceilings in the Halls had water leaks. The property was never walked and cleaned so that was trash everywhere.”
