“This is my favorite harbor freight. They usually have everything in stock and most are not locked up. I hate having to track someone down at the Port Charlotte store to get an item unlocked so I can purchase it. I'll go online if I have to do that but at this store I don't have to.”

“Carl is the man! I had an urgent need to install a garbage disposal for the first time and was totally stressed. Carl calmly helped me and took extra care to wire the bottom of the disposal with a plug in. He literally saved me for my property inspection. And, he was so good at explaining that if I never need to install one again I’ll know how to do it. This is why I come to Ace instead of big box stores. “Was able to get in and out quickly, and was assisted with my request for a key copy right away. When I had a problem with the new key that wouldn't work in the lock, they took a long look, remade it twice more, and gave me the one they felt was the best match. That one worked! No extra charge.”

They let me talk in general and be my happy self, then helped me find a couple of products, and let me fill-up my cart with various products afterwards. 2 other cool employees floated by with more good energy. “Today at noon an employee in the plumbing department of Venice Lowes helped me solve my plumbing problem. He even visually showed how the pipes would fit together while I was arguing that he didn't understand. Well, this employee, a retired plumber, certainly did understand and his advice worked like a charm. I am so thankful that he was there to offer excellent advice and sure wish I had gotten his name. Thank you so much to the retired plumber and the Lowes manager for hiring him.”
“One of two locations here in Sarasota County that I visited. This one is an older facility not very well run. Also access is not the best for large trucks. Kind of off the beaten path. When I have had pre-orders delivered in the past I have been somewhat disappointed in the product and had to return things in person. Their other store up on Fruitville is brand new state of the art and very well run much preferred.”

“By far one me of the biggest garden section in a Lowe's I have ever seen and the do not hover over u here at the SELF checkout like they do in Osprey it's almost suffocating in Osprey . Terry in the garden dept at Lowe's in Osprey is not the kindest and easy agitated , which makes me not wanna go to that location any more it's just a mess in Osprey . This Lowe's gets a 5 star and I will be coming here although it's 6 more min out of the way the entire over all experience is chill here Thankyou to everyone at the VENICE Lowe's u make me feel comfortable and easy to shop for what my home needs”
“The 2 guys who helped us yesterday went way beyond helping! We came in with a hinge for which we wanted to get replacements. I called earlier to make sure they had them. Joe assured me they had 300 so I made my way in about 1/2 hour away. I get there only to find out it wasn’t the right one! I was bummed seeing I called first & it was 1/2 hour away. The 2 guys (sorry I didn’t get your names), looked in the leftover parts box, scoured the shelves & said he could order them for me since none worked. It was a discontinued item. He finally said, hey have you checked Amazon? I did not as I went to the store in a different location previously & got them. He found them on Amazon & reasonably priced!! He printed off the exact ones to order & went over what he keyed in to find them. I ordered them on the way home & at 5 am they were at my doorstop! Only because these 2 wonderful men took the time to help!!! Thank you for people who care!!! Bruce & Diane”
