This was the third furniture store that I had gone to today looking for a reasonably priced king size mattress, and box spring.My daughter n law told me to go to youMr Hawkins listened, and I mean he really listened.He told us very good facts about mattresses that I did not even know .He did not try to upsell us, or move us into a higher bracket that we could not afford – he was literally amazing. He let us try several ones and asked super good questions about how the mattress would be utilized, etc . I will never go anywhere else.”

“We visited pretty much all the furniture stores in the Sarasota/Port Charlotte area. We came to Matter brothers last. Matt Taylor greeted us at the door. We told him we wanted to have a general look around the store. He left us in peace to do just that, checking in once in awhile, not every two or 3 minutes like other places!Matt is a very honest person who tells it like it is, he is so knowledgeable on all the furniture and the manufacturers in the store. When we told him that the color of the table we bought from another store was not going to work after checking at house, which we are closing on November 10th, he helped us build a new table by the same manufacturer with the colors we wanted for the same price. The lady at the other store didn’t tell us we had any choices in colors.We ended up buying all major items for our new build from Matter Brothers, canceled other items we bought in other stores. Matter Brothers is my all time favorite furniture store thanks to Matt Taylor.”

“Wonderful store - full of treasures that must be seen. I don't necessarily understand the "it's too expensive" argument. The prices are well below market value and highly competitive with other resell stores. For example, I purchased a wonderful Herman-Miller office chair for $62!! The chair is posted online for $1,000+.”
