8017 N University Dr, ParklandI’ve always had wonderful experiences at Parkland Animal Clinic and truly loved and trusted the previous doctor who recently retired. I’m happy to share that my visit with the new owner and Medical Director, Dr. Arlianne Velez, was equally positive.
Dr. Velez was incredibly kind, thorough, and took the time to clearly explain my cat’s health issues and walk me through thoughtful solutions. I never felt rushed and truly felt heard throughout the visit. The staff was also incredible — welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring from start to finish.
I left feeling informed, reassured, and confident in the care my cat is receiving. It’s comforting to know this clinic continues to provide such compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.

Our server Taylor was soo great, in such a calm manner, she helped deliver my baby! Taylor was SUCH a great server and her demeanor calmed me down. Taylor was my angel. So much so, I name my daughter after her, Taylor Renee! If you ever go, ask for Taylor!

7805 N University Dr #100, ParklandThe Hispanic/Latin Alumni Network (HLAN) at FSU recently hosted an event on the outdoor patio at Dear Olivia Bar & Kitchen, and I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience. The space was exactly what we were looking for. It was private, beautiful, and perfect for networking and conversation.
From the very beginning, Nicole, the Group Sales Director, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was kind, responsive, and patient with the many questions we had while planning our event. She made the entire booking process seamless and stress-free.
We preordered shareables for our guests, and everything came out perfectly. What really stood out was the staff's attention to detail. They even asked if we'd like to keep some of the food under the warming lamps until more guests arrived before bringing it out. That level of thoughtfulness truly went above and beyond.
Our server, Phillip, was fantastic as well. He managed all of our guests' individual orders on his own while remaining friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout the event.
We arrived early to decorate, and the team couldn't have been more accommodating. They provided us with a speaker so we could play music and even came to the rescue by lending us markers and tape after we realized we had forgotten ours. Those small gestures made a big difference.
And now, the food... Absolutely incredible! The vodka margherita flatbread was, without a doubt, one of the best flatbreads I've ever had. It was SO good. The spinach dip was equally delicious, and every dish we ordered received compliments from our guests. The cocktails were just as impressive and perfectly complemented the meal.
Everything exceeded our expectations, and our event couldn't have gone more smoothly. I'm already looking forward to coming back to explore more of the menu because if what we had is any indication, it's going to be another fantastic experience.
A huge thank you to Nicole and the entire Dear Olivia team for making our event such a success. I highly recommend Dear Olivia Bar & Kitchen, whether you're planning a private gathering or simply looking for a great meal and drinks. We'll definitely be back!
