“In this day and age, "Big Banking" is considered to be the standard. I understand that better than most due to growing up with the CEO of Bank of America and his brothers and sisters as neighbors. (We always made Brian be the banker when we played Monopoly! Talk about deja vu! LOL)But for those of us that remember simpler times when banking was a personal contact thing where you dealt directly with the people that made the decisions, we often believe those times are long gone. But thanks to BotS, they aren't since it is one of those rare...almost extinct...financial centers where the words "Hometown Bank" isn't just a PR catch-phrase, but rather is reality! Super friendly and always helpful and professional staff that calls you by name. Great west side location. Wide range of services and financial products. The president isn't squirrelled away behind walls or hidden out on another floor, but rather right out there in the main lobby and always ready to help you herself if need be. They even give out doggie treats at the drive-thru if you have Rover along helping you run errands! Now THAT'S "old fashioned, hometown banking" at its best! I know all that are reasons that I have been a customer for nearly two decades and will continue to be for many more years to come I'm sure.”

“Rachel at Centennial Bank on 2200 Airport Blvd. was exceptionally kind and professional. The teller next to her (I’ll get her name next time, or perhaps someone can respond with it) was just as kind...smiling, laughing, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. I explained to Rachel that I wasn’t a member, but I needed to cash a check written by a business their bank represents. I also mentioned that Publix had denied it through a third-party service on yesterday evening. Rachel immediately showed genuine concern. Even though she didn’t have to, she apologized for the inconvenience and reassured me that she wanted to make sure I hadn’t gone out of my way. This wasn’t scripted or sarcastic...her professionalism and empathy came through naturally. On top of that, she proudly explained that even though I don’t have an account, Centennial charges no fee to cash checks from businesses they represent. That simple gesture of courtesy and fairness left a lasting impression. Rachel truly turned what could have been a frustrating errand into a positive experience. Centennial Bank is fortunate to have employees like her who embody both professionalism and empathy. I will be back as a client!”

“I have had a Warrington Bank checking account for 17 years since I moved to Pensacola in 1998 as I always prefer to bank at a place close to my home in this case, Perdido Key.From the very beginning they strongly exceeded my expectations of what I had experienced with other banks/credit unions prior to moving to Pensacola. In 2001, My Brother and I, bought a business in Perdido and all our business accounts have been with Warrington Bank for 15 years. Warrington bank has never let me or my company down, never failed to take care of a problem immediately. They are loyal to their customers. They treat you like a friend , not just someone walking in the door they don't know. Whenever possible, they credit your deposits in a more timely manner than the so called bigger banks in town who always come up with a reason or excuse to put a hold on every check you deposit. Warrington bank reminds me of when I was younger, growing up in a small town in central Florida and you were able to actually have a relationship with the friendly local small town bank before all the big banks bought out all the smaller banks and customer service went to you know where. They have not been able to buy out Warrington Bank and I hope that never happens. I highly recommend Warrington if you need a checking account, business account, debit card, savings etc or an auto loan and many other loan products etc. They are the best bank in Pensacola, Florida, bar none. “We left PNC Bank and went to ServisFirst as many of our small business owner friends recommended them. The staff is extremely friendly and very easy to work with. (And I mean all of them!) They don't hold our high dollar checks and the online and app user face is easy to navigate. The only downside, in my opinion, is the required minimum balance of $2,000 for business accounts. It's painful but know it's good as it forces us to be better managers of our spending and stay on top of collecting from our clients.”
