It’s hard to put into words the care we have received at South Miami Vets and Pets. ”We” includes our 6 year old Yorkie, Leo, and my family.

Leo was bit by a large dog on a walk in the neighborhood and suffered multiple bite wounds. Over the last 3 months, Leo has been a daily visitor. He had multiple surgical procedures and daily bandage changes, as well as numerous prescriptions. He had little to no appetite which was coupled with a persistent fever.

I’m happy to say that after some real touch-and-go periods, Leo seems to have turned the corner and is on his was to recovery. The care my family and I received from not just one, but the entire team at the clinic, goes well beyond what I look for as “good customer service“. They all truly care.

Dr Diaz and Dr Acevedo have built an amazing team. The care for Leo and the support for our family has been a special experience that we will always remember.

Banfield Pet Hospital

After moving to Miami, we needed a trusted vet for our little Maltipoo Oso, and we’re so glad we found Banfield Pet Hospital! This was our third visit, and each time has been just as wonderful as the first. The clinic is spotless, and the staff are always warm, friendly, and genuinely caring toward our pup. We always leave feeling confident our furry family member is in the best hands. I highly recommend this place.

I’m Mexican and I went to this place because of the advertising—Vicente Fernández Jr. himself recommended it. Overall it was good; the dishes are well served, the guacamole is very tasty, as well as the green chilaquiles, and the carne asada that comes with rice. The asada tacos were also very good. However, the tacos al pastor were a huge disappointment—they tasted awful! So if your intention is to eat tacos al pastor, this is NOT the place. The sauces are also quite bad.
