18419 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke PinesHighly recommended. We are new to Broward, and chose VCA Pines as our Vet for both of our dogs. I cannot say enough great things so far about our experience here. First both Dr. Thompson and Dr. Meacham have been excellent. Second and just as important, the front desk staff is great. When we made our first appt, they retrieved all of our dogs records from different Vets the same day. Every time I have called, they have been so helpful. They have never left me on hold for an unreasonable amount of time - I've called several times with questions, and they respond back in a timely manner (within minutes, not hours or days). After starting medication, they followed up with us which I've never seen in my previous vet visits. My checking in and out has been smooth as well. In my past experiences, it has been vastly different, and those LITTLE things made a huge difference with an already sometimes challenging day for our dogs. Thank you VCA Pines!

Her dedication for taking care of our pets over the years is more than I could have every hope for. I brought our dog in for an emergency last week and she referred us to VCA ER in Hollywood for the emergency treatment he needed. When we got there they had our dog information and took him back asap. She kept in touch with me during that time. Thank goodness our dog, Duke is doing great. Thank you Dr. Kuhn for alway treating our furry babies like they were your furbabies.

My dog had not been seeming herself so i wanted another opinion, previous vets left me feeling like i was giving them answers and they just said yes. Terri listened to me and assured me that at the very least i would get some answers with dr hernandez and that was an understatement. dr hernandez was able to meet me with honesty and kindness to give me actual peace of mind and answers to plan for. if we went one route what are the next steps and she went through every option and factor with me. i wish i had more time at this office.

The moment I came across the place, I felt curious about what was waiting inside. The name itself has such an Italian charm, and as someone who appreciates a good dessert, I was already interested in seeing what I could find. Of course, I had one important mission: to get myself something delicious!
Walking in, I found myself thinking about all the flavours I could try. You know that feeling when you have a craving but suddenly everything on the menu sounds appealing? That was exactly the sort of dilemma I could imagine having here. Vanilla and chocolate are familiar favourites, but there is something special about enjoying them as gelato. I could almost picture that first spoonful, the smooth texture melting on my tongue, followed by the rich sweetness that makes you want to go back for another bite before you have even swallowed the first. Honestly, self-control becomes a little difficult when dessert is involved!
What I particularly love about a place like Vaniglia & Cioccolato is the simple pleasure it offers. There is no need for an elaborate occasion or a complicated plan. Sometimes, you just want to step away from the day's activities, treat yourself to something refreshing, and enjoy a few peaceful minutes. I can imagine sitting back with a cup of gelato, taking my time with every spoonful, and forgetting about my responsibilities for a little while. If happiness had a flavour, I suspect chocolate would make a very strong case for itself!
I also appreciate the charm of Italian-style gelato because it feels like a lovely alternative to an everyday dessert. The thought of exploring different flavours makes the experience even more exciting. I would happily consider combining vanilla and chocolate, especially because their contrasting tastes work so beautifully together. One brings a gentle, creamy sweetness, while the other delivers that deeper, indulgent flavour chocolate lovers know all too well.
Beyond the dessert itself, I believe the atmosphere, presentation, and friendliness of the staff can make a visit even more memorable. Those little details matter because they help turn a quick stop into somewhere you would genuinely want to revisit.
Overall, Vaniglia & Cioccolato leaves me curious to explore more of its gelato offerings and discover which flavour would win me over completely. I would gladly make room for another visit because, let's be honest, one serving is not always enough when you find something you truly enjoy. Sometimes, the best.
