Low Key Tiki
3135 Stringfellow Rd, St James CityBeautiful area. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. The servers were attentive and really felt welcoming. They are dog friendly. They brought out bowls with ice water for my dog right when I sat down. Pull your boat up if you like. They have outdoor seating right on the water/canal. Had the Nacho's and the fish tacos. The fish in the tacos were each filled with a huge piece of fish. They were delicious! I will be back to try more.

The Waterfront Restaurant & Marina
2131 Oleander St, St James CityAdorable little restaurant and marina located on a canal facing pine island sound. We sat outside and Freckles came with us. Delightful corn and shrimp chowder and fried artichokes with chili sauce. Karen was our waitress and brought Freckles a nice bowl of water. She was helpful and attentive! Glad to be eating outside after all the rebuilding from Hurricane Ian.

Helping Paws Animal Sanctuary
10060 Mallory E Pkwy, St James CityI have a large labradoodle dog who has a huge hunting instinct. He accepted my old cat because she was there when he was adopted as a puppy, but when my old cat died, I didn't have confidence that I could replace him. Marnie understood exactly the problem and chose for me a mature female cat, now called Mini. She was a rescue cat who had stood her ground when a wild animal tried to get her kitten. My dog learned not to mess with her. It took 2 careful months, but we now have a happy settled cat who sleeps with me. The right choice. Thanks Marnie!
