“Pinecraft shoes is now the only place I will get my work boots from. Went in yesterday to have my current work boots fixed and he stopped what he was doing to see if it was something he could do and within 10 minutes I was walking back out with my work boots fixed. I feel terrible for not remembering their names but the man and woman who were there were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to get me taken care of. I would suggest everyone give them a try when looking for boots, shoe repair, clothing and leather goods.”

I’ve started getting pain in my Achilles lately and knew I had to get new shoes that had great support. I was looking at getting a pair of Hokas, because of all the good things people say about them. After trying on both the HOKA Clifton 9 and the new Vans Crosspath, I decided to go with the vans mainly, because they feel like the Hokas. Also these are weather treated and Hokas are not, so as mobile Detailer whose on their feet all day the Vans were a no brainer.”

“Let me start by saying that journeys is not a store that comes to the top of my mind when I’m shoe shopping. Today, however I was on a mission to find a pair of double strap sandals for a trip I am going on next month. I knew that different brands made these including Birkenstock. I wasn’t having luck at other stores and I decided to walk into this store. I was immediately greeted by this young lady who said welcome in. A few short moments later, she came right up to me and asked if there was anything she could help me with. I told her what I was looking for, and she immediately took me over to the men’s section. It was there she showed me a beautiful selection in many different colors I might add of exactly what I was looking for! She asked what size shoe I wore and recommended going down in size since this particular Birkenstock only came in full sizes. When she brought them out, she was absolutely correct! I definitely needed to go down to a 9 and not go up to a 10. She even brought out a second pair in a different size just in case. She was right on point. They fit perfectly. It took me a few minutes to make the decision to go ahead and buy them because this is not a style of sandal I would usually purchase, however they looked great on. She explained that they would start off hard, and as I wore them, they would soften up and mold to my feet. I was sold! I took them and I am very pleased with my purchase. I am excited to wear these on my trip! I was very impressed with this young lady, she exceeded my expectations!”
“I was a ride along with my friend who needed to exchange some shoes for her grandmom for size. She would up getting the original color she wanted and they were cheaper here for some reason.We virtually had the whole place to ourselves without being hassled or saying excuse me trying not to be in someone else's way.Huge variety of shoes, neat store not messy. The two ladies who assisted us were helpful. They explained that shows can also be ordered and delivered if you do not find your size. Great transaction.”

One black jacket I must have bought 20 some years ago and still have it. Very simply, and very beautiful.
Today I went for a white T, for my denim jumper. The cashier is an elder woman probably my age. White hair and beautiful. As she was folding my T, and said, “oh this is nice, I’ve one too.”
Then sha asked, “what are you wearing?”
“No 5.” I said.
“Chanel?” She said.
I laughed, “yes, only the oldies like it.” She laughed too. Hope she doesn’t mind the ‘oldie’ label.”
“Drove far to pick up a last minute Christmas gift that was showing “in stock”. I searched and couldn’t find the correct size, Anna the store associate searched the back and found what I needed in a recent delivery.She was great, would shop here again just because of her wonderful customer service.”
“I visited this store 3x already, the first time they didn’t have my size so they took down my information and called me when the shoes I wanted came in. Sadly I didn’t tell them the correct size and realized when I got home my new Birkenstocks were a bit too small. I thought the 38 was a size 8, it’s not it’s really a size 7-7.5, so I needed the 39. The staff said they can properly size my foot, and I did indeed need the 39. I have a narrow foot so I went for the Arizona soft bed, narrow, in suede. They added a few extra holes since my foot is really narrow and told me to come back if I ever needed extra holes after they break in. While I was there I saw the Birkenstock Madrid and decided to get those too since they’re less casual and look a little bit more dressy so I can wear them to work. They did have 10% off sale going on which was a pleasant surprise. I will continue to stop in and shop at this gem of a store because nothing beats the customer experience at a local small business!Here’s a pic of the shoes I bought… I do have 2 of each. :-)”
