“The office was clean. The employees are happy and friendly. The vet was good. She got on the floor with my 2 fur babies. They were great with options of services and cost, loved this. The tech was great with them. My only complaint is the the vet left it to the tech to give my babies their shots. We left happy until it was not ok. They cried out in pain if I touched their bottoms, went to help then into bed or up the ramp to the sofa. They were limping and in a lot of pain. They are finally getting better today, but it was a scary weekend with my babies not able to walk and run and being in pain. They did not want to eat or be loved on. They cried. This broke my heart. This is the first time we have experienced this. Sad to say that I will no longer bring them back. But they are my priority. Thank you.”

“We have been going to Santa Cruz Animal Hospital for several years now. We love Dr. Stanton and she has given all our babies great care and still does! We first met her and the staff at the hospital when our regular vet was out of town and our 10 yr old girl Sophie (yellow lab / german shepherd mix) stated acting funny at home and became very very bloated. We called several places and Santa Cruz was the only vet clinic who answered and told us to come in. The end result was Sophie's abdomen was twisted and Dr. Stanton did emergency surgery, which saved Sophie's life. We ended up having Sophie for two more years before we lost her to cancer. We credit Dr. Stanton and the staff for this extra years. Since that time our vet retired and we have remained with Dr. Stanton and Santa Cruz. She has seen us through the loss of Sophie, the additions of Jackson, Stella, Emily and now Virgil (all rescues)! She also helped us to say goodbye to Sophie, Jackson and Stella when their time came. I can say she and the staff were compassionate, supportive and understanding during those times. Being honest, I will say they are more expensive than some others, but the care is exceptional. They have always found a way to fit us in when we had a concern or worry and Doc took the time to speak with us by phone when necessary. You can't go wrong with the doctors here.”

“Dr Luke Viramontes is a great Doctor, he treated my Stormie with so much love, he always spent a good amount of time explaining to me what was going on with Stormie, I don’t understand English very well so several times, I kept asking the same question over and over again and each time he would answer making sure that I understood
He even called the specialist himself to explain what was going on with Stormie
He answered every email that I sent to him, I knew I was overwhelming him, but he still treated me with respect and made me feel like Stormie couldn’t be in better hands
I called last minute several times and he never denied to see Stormie, even if he had to stay late
Stormie is doing better because of him, and I would recommend him 100%”

“Lio, our new puppy, was recently acquired from an elderly person who could no longer care for him and subsequently passed away. With no knowledge of his medical history, I scheduled an appointment at Four Paws.
Upon arrival, I was promptly greeted by Leah, who was wonderful and informative. She patiently answered all my questions and recommended a comprehensive treatment plan to ensure Lio received the necessary vaccinations and preventive medications.
Dr. Concepcion then came in to administer the vaccinations. She also provided additional recommendations that were both practical and reassuring. Impressively, Dr. Concepcion spent 10 minutes on the floor, gently removing matting from Lio’s fur with a fine comb.
The entire team took the time to address all my concerns, and I left feeling like a very satisfied customer.
A first visit can often be unpredictable, but Four Paws exceeded my expectations. I’m extremely happy with my choice and will definitely return. I highly recommend giving Four Paws your business.”
“We had to put our dog down this week. This place was reasonable and caring. The other places I called around to wanted to charge a ton and do a full exam on a 15 year old dog who wouldn’t eat, take her meds, could hardly walk and can’t hear or see. It’s a hard enough decision without someone questioning our judgment or trying to talk us in to other things. Dr. Ercoli and her assistant were kind they held her gave her treats and it’s the only time in going to the vet that she didn’t get nervous.”
