“Erick M. is a high quality professional technician. Erick had every opportunity to sell me a more expensive service (windshield replacement) which I would have probably paid for. However, Erick assessed my vehicle and assured me a replacement was completely unnecessary and he could fix the leak with a simple repair. Erick explained what he observed as the issue and showed evidence for it, explained how this probably occurred to my vehicle, described what steps he would take to make the repair before performing any work, and then graciously answered any questions I raised as he performed the work and encourage me to watch. Couldn't be happier with the service, and about 6 months later I haven't had any additional problems with water leaks in that windshield. I highly recommend them.Service: Water leak repair”

“Kevin is quick to respond, easy to get ahold of, and does an excellent job. I have used his services several times - once for a cracked windshield from debris, and once for a smash-and-grab on my passenger window. Unfortunately, several of our out-of-town guests have also experienced smash and grabs (or smash and runs wtf) and I've connected them with Kevin for a quick and easy resolution. If you're reading this, it's probably too late... but in the future, you might consider taking a lyft/uber/public transportation around Oakland instead of driving to Jack London or downtown. Thanks Kevin - I hope that I don't have to call you again but when the need arrises, I know who to call (or text).”

“First off I know people tend to read the first line of reviews, so very happy with Five Star!. We took our 04 Explorer there because I was getting a flashing "OD Off" light, which is indicative of a transmission issue. I also read a PCM code that indicated a shift servo fault. They checked the servos and they were working so the initial thought was perhaps a transmission fluid change may solve the problem, then they dropped the pan. Inside was metallic debris indicating a more serious problem and they recommended transmission swap. This was performed and the vehicle is working great again. The nice thing was they did not go right to transmission change without considering other, less-expensive options first. Obviously once the debris was found they did not proceed with a fluid swap; they did the transmission swap. Very pleased with their approach to the issue and the resolution. “I took my Winnebago Travato here in hopes they could fix an issue with my cv joints. I wasn’t optimistic since I had talked to several other RV repair shop that couldn’t resolve the issue but to my surprise I got my van fixed and in what I would call ‘record time’!! Not fully knowing what the exact issue was, Drew’s RV told me it could be a while, but I got a call less than a week later fully describing all issues and what the next step would be to repair. I gave them the green light to start the repairs and had my RV back less than 2 weeks later!! Amazing service, amazing staff, timeline for diagnosis/repair = AMAZING!! “We had taken our tire to fire stone because it was flat, and was still under warranty. The tread was still very deep and almost new like. Fire stone wouldn't fix the flat. They wanted to sell us a tire instead. That was ridiculous. So we took it over to carriage Auto service they fit it into their schedule and fixed it. No problem. They were very friendly and reliable. They had it ready when they said they would. We will be going over there in the future.”
