“Parking was not terrible at all for Tampa, and it was included in the rate so that was great. Easy to navigate and get into the lobby. We were quickly greeted by the desk staff and the check in process was fast and easy. They were super friendly too.
The room presented itself excellent in the beginning. Beautiful views, clean room and exactly the break in our day that we needed.
Once we settled in, the room left some things to be desired. Mold in the glass corners of the shower and the toilet is some type of low pressure thing that makes it difficult to flush even toilet paper. So this became annoying quickly.
Checkout was easy and the room had everything we needed. We would stay again without hesitation.”

“My fiancé and I came to Tampa for the Sleep Token concert on 5/6/24, and booked a room here so we wouldn't have to drive all the way back home after the show. The service we received as soon as we walked in, was phenomenal. Everyone was so nice and helpful! We got 2 waters for being Hilton members which was great especially on a hot day. When I walked into the room, both of the TVs said "Welcome Rachel". I think that's just the coolest thing ever! Also being able to check in, open the door, and control the lights with my phone made things even easier. The room itself was very clean, and I loved all of the thought put in to what people might need during their stay. A makeup remover, shower cap, a shoe cleaning mitt, eating utensils, pots, pans, etc. The bed was very comfortable and I absolutely LOVED the pillows. It was very quiet as well, so when I got back from the concert it was easy to relax. My fiancé got breakfast downstairs the next morning and said the scrambled eggs were really good. I'm sure I'll be back to Tampa for another show and I will definitely stay here again. The nearly 5-star reviews rating speaks for itself.Rooms: Spacious, comfortableNearby activities: Concert and sports venues, restaurants, Busch Gardens, there's a ton of stuff to do around Tampa.Safety: I felt very safe staying here! “Alicia, can clean a bathroom. That was the best smelling women’s bathroom in all of Tampa. I walked in and you can tell she took her time moping and cleaning and everything was to a t, strange review but, sometimes is the little things that make a hotel, and she was working hard.”
“This inn is located close to MacDill (in an area that has some shady motels). The staff is nice, breakfast covers all the bases and the rooms are clean. (Better than the MacDill Inn).Please don't use so much fragrance in the rooms. The perfume smell is overwhelming.”

FREE AIRPORT SHUTTLE SERVICE= The first airport shuttle driver (I believe his name was Jim) was abrupt and had no customer service skills. He didn’t even get out of the van to put luggage in or open the door. The driver (Bruce) returning us to the airport was refreshingly more cordial in comparison, as he put our luggage in the van and chatted with us on the way.
Disappointing $3 per water bottle charged with no label advising that they were not free. This was not shared during check-in, either. Multiple receipts of same final amounts sent via email, which made expensing challenging. May return only because of location.”

“I have been traveling back and fourth between South Florida and Tampa for work and had struggled to find a really nice hotel at an affordable price until someone told me about this hotel.This is now going to be my go-to place to stay in Tampa. “The hotel itself was clean and everyone was nice. However, the rooms have those hotel thin walls and you can bear everything and everyone! The breakfast was good!!! I dislike hotel breakfast as most of the time the items are old or cheap, but their breakfast was rather good. The pillows were not very comfortable, and the bed was just ok.”

“We stayed for one night at the Westin. We stayed at 4 different Tampa Marriott properties in 4 nights and this was by FAR the best stay. The bed and linens were so comfortable, I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The room was clean and had a nice view. The hotel employees were all wonderful, cherry and helpful. The bathroom could use an update but it was clean (and very large!) and that's really all I cared about. The pool was out of service due to Helene, but that was ok.
The Hotel is in a great area, with nice restaurants nearby and a close walk to downtown. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!”

“Arrived early to the hotel, they had a secured storage room to leave our bags in. The shuttle to Busch Gardens was super easy. Drop off and pickup is just outside the park gates. Will definitely stay her again
Rooms: Room very clean and lots of USB ports to use for charging devices.
Nearby activities: Just across the street from Busch Gardens.
Walkability: Area is a lil sketchy, but plenty of people walking around.”

“It's wonderful place to stay , quiet, clean , comfortable, all the imeities you need, beautiful scenery, customer service is great, breakfast in the morning is the best and plenty of choices, people in other rooms are not disturbing place was built well, love the kitchen able to cook a full meal, bathrooms are large and clean, I stay there often and have e a wonderful experience every time.Rooms: Rooms are large clean private, beds very comfortable, large bathrooms, large kitchen full fridge stove and microwave very welcoming rooms are modern but still homely.Safety: Area is very safe apartments on one side neighborhood on one side, water on the otherNoteworthy details: Staff is very helpful and friendly grounds are clean , attention to detail plenty of parking.”

“on a very special day in my life I received a gift for 2 nights at this spectacular hotel. I felt like a queen. Fluffy pillows galore in a pristeen room with a generous hearted staff in every component of service. Stem to stern one might say. The front desk staff greet you and provide helpful and focused attention . The staff at the hotel restaurant are beyond personable - fully attentive,joyful ,caring and knowledgeable with helpful suggestions.The Menu has a full array that covers all needs and preferences. The housekeeping and maintenance staff continued this culture of caring and connection. A gentle ready-to-please presence never reacted as though I was a bother.WOW. I plan to return”

“My now wife went in person to visit various venue locations. I desired to have a water front wedding ceremony, and there were various options at the time. What really sold us on the DoubleTree by Hilton was the professionalism portrayed by Barbara Tyler (Sales Manager), the head catering, head chef, and hotel management. We knew we were in good hands with Barbara as she was straight forward with us, very responsive to our questions, and timing on logistics with both us and our wedding coordinator.
We were able to have the water front ceremony desired. What was magical is that during the ceremony, two dolphins were uniting in the background and it was caught on camera. Turns out dolphins are my wife's favorite animal. The outdoor site was well prepared after experiencing a brush with hurricane Helene. We were blessed that our wedding dodged the traumatic impact the hurricane Milton left when it impacted the hotel just after our wedding.
Up front with the tasting, the head chef and management came out to meet us as we tried to various dishes. The food then and at the reception was exquisite and delightful.
On the weekend of our magical event, Barbara caught up with us to make sure things were going as expected and worked quite well with our coordinator. The staff was fantastic in and out of the reception. Between the hotel, coordinator, and our master of ceremony (DJ), our reception was epic! I am not quite sure they were ready for such a nerdy couple to have such as bombastic reception and four grown adults switch from wedding attire to cosplay.
The fact that most of the attendants said it was the most fun wedding they ever attends speaks more words than we can portray in this review. We highly recommend the DoubleTree by Hilton.”
“When in Tampa I would normally stay at The Chase Suites, but since it is has now closed permanently I chose the Sailport Waterfront Suites. Me and my friends who have never been to Florida before stayed here for our first girls trip, quite honestly I have no real complaints our stay was great, our rooms were clean, we had a beautiful view of the bay, the grill near the pool had some very good food even they we went to Walmart and purchased stuff for the full kitchen we had in our two bedroom suite, all in all we had a wonderful stay and a great time, so with the fact the hotel doesn't have a shuttle bus service for the guest I will stay at the Sailport again. However I will strongly suggest to keep up with the other hotels in the surrounding area of Rocky Point they invest in a shuttle bus service, now that would definitely make me became a regular guest. Thank you for making our stay a pleasant one.”
“I did not officially stay here, I unfortunately had car issues and had to pull into parking lot and wait for a tow. I walked in front lobby to advise front desk and apologize. Tee was amazing with her smile and attitude even though I was not staying she was so nice and helpful (even kept eye on car when I was gone) if I was needing to stay anywhere I would pick there because of her and her amazing service.”
