“Parking was not terrible at all for Tampa, and it was included in the rate so that was great. Easy to navigate and get into the lobby. We were quickly greeted by the desk staff and the check in process was fast and easy. They were super friendly too.

The room presented itself excellent in the beginning. Beautiful views, clean room and exactly the break in our day that we needed.

Once we settled in, the room left some things to be desired. Mold in the glass corners of the shower and the toilet is some type of low pressure thing that makes it difficult to flush even toilet paper. So this became annoying quickly.

Checkout was easy and the room had everything we needed. We would stay again without hesitation.”

“good place just make sure to call ahead if you have a pet because they do not honor ESA letters even if you paid a private doctor or received it from the VA hospital. Pet rooms fill up quickly.

“This inn is located close to MacDill (in an area that has some shady motels). The staff is nice, breakfast covers all the bases and the rooms are clean. (Better than the MacDill Inn).Please don't use so much fragrance in the rooms. The perfume smell is overwhelming.”

“My fiancé and I came to Tampa for the Sleep Token concert on 5/6/24, and booked a room here so we wouldn't have to drive all the way back home after the show. The service we received as soon as we walked in, was phenomenal. Everyone was so nice and helpful! We got 2 waters for being Hilton members which was great especially on a hot day. When I walked into the room, both of the TVs said "Welcome Rachel". I think that's just the coolest thing ever! Also being able to check in, open the door, and control the lights with my phone made things even easier. The room itself was very clean, and I loved all of the thought put in to what people might need during their stay. A makeup remover, shower cap, a shoe cleaning mitt, eating utensils, pots, pans, etc. The bed was very comfortable and I absolutely LOVED the pillows. It was very quiet as well, so when I got back from the concert it was easy to relax. My fiancé got breakfast downstairs the next morning and said the scrambled eggs were really good. I'm sure I'll be back to Tampa for another show and I will definitely stay here again. “We stayed at Hyatt Place Tampa Downtown from December 28th to 30th and had an excellent experience from start to finish.

The room was spotless and very well maintained. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. A special shout-out to the valet team as well, super efficient, friendly, and made parking completely stress-free.

The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, and all public areas were exceptionally clean. The location is perfect, close to everything downtown, making it easy to walk or quickly get to restaurants, attractions, and waterfront spots.

Overall, a fantastic stay. Thank you to the entire team. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.”

“Since the hotel is in a commercial industrial area it's very quiet. The rooms are big with a kitchen for staying a few days. Outdoor pool and grill area on backside of the building.”

FREE AIRPORT SHUTTLE SERVICE= The first airport shuttle driver (I believe his name was Jim) was abrupt and had no customer service skills. He didn’t even get out of the van to put luggage in or open the door. The driver (Bruce) returning us to the airport was refreshingly more cordial in comparison, as he put our luggage in the van and chatted with us on the way.

Disappointing $3 per water bottle charged with no label advising that they were not free. This was not shared during check-in, either. Multiple receipts of same final amounts sent via email, which made expensing challenging. May return only because of location.”

“Arrived early to the hotel, they had a secured storage room to leave our bags in. The shuttle to Busch Gardens was super easy. Drop off and pickup is just outside the park gates. Will definitely stay her again

Rooms: Room very clean and lots of USB ports to use for charging devices.

Nearby activities: Just across the street from Busch Gardens.

Walkability: Area is a lil sketchy, but plenty of people walking around.”

“Our youth hockey team had a really nice stay at the hotel the week of Thanksgiving. The big hits with the group were the location, the free breakfast, the free happy hour, the pool, the service, and the spacious rooms.

There is no better location in downtown Tampa. The trolley stop is literally right out the front door. Thunder Alley/Lightning arena is adjacent. The Riverwalk, restaurants, bars, Harbour Island, and Publix are all just steps away.

Everyone raved about the breakfast and having to be down there by 9:30am was good motivation to get up and start the day. The MTO omelettes were delicious and the chefs were so friendly. They also had a waffle station, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries, bagels, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, juice, coffee, soda….really just about anything you could want.

The free happy hour was from 5-6:30 every day and our group took full advantage enjoying beer, wine, bourbon, and a variety of other house offerings. You can pay a little extra for top shelf.

Service was good from arranging the group booking to check in, to customer satisfaction inquiry texts during our stay, to getting an Amazon delivery to the front desk, to bar tenders, etc. The only service improvement would have been to receive a room refresh or two during our 3 night stay. We were always able to find a housekeeper nearby to replenish clean towels, though:)

The room was spacious and comfortable. Ours had 2 queen beds, sleeper sofa, wet bar with microwave and oversized mini fridge, chair, dining set for four, 2 TVs, ample drawer and closet space, and a safe. Everything was clean.

The reason for 4 stars vs 5 is the condition of the mattress in the sleeper sofa. That thing felt like a pile of coils. I requested and quickly received an extra mattress cover and comforter that we put under the sheets and that helped quite a bit. The second reason for the star deduction was one elevator was out of service for the duration of our stay. The third reason was that we were originally on the top floor which was under some sort of remediation. There were tarps trying to hide it but there were big holes in the ceiling and signs of water damage. The AC did not appear to be working in the hallways up there. My family went to our room but quickly decided that with our high sensitivity to mold and mildew that we best move away from any area with possible water damage. I called down and was immediately assigned another room and met at that room by an employee of the hotel who swapped keys with me…saving us a trip back to the lobby.

Overall, this is a wonderful hotel with many amenities and very friendly, professional, and helpful employees. I 100% recommend it and would book here again without hesitation! And thanks for the yummy cake slice!!”

“We stayed for one night at the Westin. We stayed at 4 different Tampa Marriott properties in 4 nights and this was by FAR the best stay. The bed and linens were so comfortable, I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The room was clean and had a nice view. The hotel employees were all wonderful, cherry and helpful. The bathroom could use an update but it was clean (and very large!) and that's really all I cared about. The pool was out of service due to Helene, but that was ok.

The Hotel is in a great area, with nice restaurants nearby and a close walk to downtown. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!”

“on a very special day in my life I received a gift for 2 nights at this spectacular hotel. I felt like a queen. Fluffy pillows galore in a pristeen room with a generous hearted staff in every component of service. Stem to stern one might say. The front desk staff greet you and provide helpful and focused attention . The staff at the hotel restaurant are beyond personable - fully attentive,joyful ,caring and knowledgeable with helpful suggestions.The Menu has a full array that covers all needs and preferences. The housekeeping and maintenance staff continued this culture of caring and connection. A gentle ready-to-please presence never reacted as though I was a bother.WOW. I plan to return”

I dislike hotel breakfast as most of the time the items are old or cheap, but their breakfast was rather good. The pillows were not very comfortable, and the bed was just ok.”

The highlight of our visit at the hotel were Junior and Theresa. ??
Theresa checked us in, she was so sweet and kind.

“I did not officially stay here, I unfortunately had car issues and had to pull into parking lot and wait for a tow. I walked in front lobby to advise front desk and apologize. Tee was amazing with her smile and attitude even though I was not staying she was so nice and helpful (even kept eye on car when I was gone) if I was needing to stay anywhere I would pick there because of her and her amazing service.”
