“Stumbled upon 'The Vine' while driving around Tampa, and I must say it's a hidden gem! The store is well-organized, offering a fantastic selection of unique finds at unbeatable prices. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, making the shopping experience even more enjoyable. It's refreshing to see such a wonderful thrift store supporting the local community. If you're in the area, 'The Vine' is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back on my next visit to south tampa.”

“I really enjoyed shopping here this past Saturday. Their prices are on the steeper end, but it makes sense since the quality of their clothes and shoes are often new with tags or very gentility warn mid/high end items. They often have sales which is nice too. The store was not busy when I went. I ended up with a brand new with tags pair of Colombia athletic shorts for $6. I love that shopping here is supporting a mission to help survivors of Domestic Violence. I look forward to coming back soon.”

“This store is a great place to thrift for furniture, art, sinks, and other items to remodel the home, and other odds and ends. Prices for the most part are very reasonable (though can be too high on some of the art). Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area, and while you're over there, try La Creacion Bakery and Siam Thai.”

“Overall it's an okay place to shop. We went during the weekday in the morning and parking was a nighmare, so would not return due to it. However, if you have a small car and can maneuver easily, the prices are okay and worth checking out. The second room is a bit dark so you might need your phone flashlight to appreciate everything but with enough patience you can probably find something you'd like.”

“Shop is very clean and organized. It has a boutique feel to it, but pricing tends to be on the higher side. The employee was very nice but volunteers seemed unwilling to help when called which was disheartening to witness. The employee was very helpful though and willing to work with some of the pricing if we really needed to, unfortunately it was still outside our budget, but it was a very kind gesture. It's worth a visit if in the area.”

“When I first looked up Stained Market Place I was looking for vintage stores.. Now this place isn't quite a vintage store and it's not quite an antique store either. It is a place full of random, older inventory. If I were to equate this store to anything it is a mix of my grandmother's and grandfather's estate. There are items there that I also would never see at my grandparents, like Jack Daniel's lights or giant art pieces. I have been to Stained Market Place a couple of times in my shopping. If you are looking for something specific, especially furniture, I recommend stopping in to see if they have it. I was able to find a solid wood, circle mirror about 3x3 for $10. I would call that a steal! The owner is super personable and easy to talk to. Some cats live onsite and they were super cute as well. I would recommend stopping in and checking it out if you are on a Saturday thrift or just looking for everyday things.”

“Went as a window shopper & they had a lot of kitchen appliances & clothes and many other things ! Very tempting to spend money I didn’t have! Lol now I know where to go for my typical Hispanic items”

“I have an ongoing love affair with thrift and consignment stores. Most of them are wild jumbles of random stuff. I thrive in their chaos! But in my favorite thrift stores the clothing and other merchandise are selected (consciously or not) to reflect the style, values and/or tastes of the proprietors. Those stores have a unique character. The SWS Closet, which specializes in clothing, is one of those magical places. It's curators obviously have good taste and an eye for style. The clothing is in very good condition and is sold at reasonable prices. The service when I was there was excellent. (Thanks Marisol!) At a time when "sticks and bricks" retail stores operated by real people who care about their customers are increasingly giving way to internet sales, it's a treat to find a gem like The SWS Closet!”

“Wherein Goodwill and Lighthouse have inflated their prices... The Sally has kept everything affordable... they know their clientele and the pricing feels respectful. I love how everything is color coordinated. Want a plus size white shirt? They have them hung all in a neat row. Want a purple plate? Guess what? The plates are organized by color. The staff is friendly and I appreciate that they hire graduates from the ARC. The Sally is a sentinel, handing out second, third and fourth chances. As a customer, I'm on my umpteenth chance in life and the TSA is still there for me and my family. Thank you. And to God be the glory.”

“Love this store. They limit the number of items to 20 clothing and have alot of people trying to sell them items so sometimes they can't take everything you bring in, but the store is super clean and organized with TONS of options for everyone. The staff is super friendly now that the new manager is there and overall its my favorite place to treasure hunt. Tip, thousands of items are discounted using their color tag system so deal seekers check out their tag color signage!!”

“I has been to the Sunshine Thrift in St. Pete and it's AWESOME! This one in South Tampa is a lil smaller, bustling, and stocked full with clothes, books, toys, games, housewares, and more. Both locations do 25 cents popcorn which is fun. As another reviewer noted there's not much furniture. Lots of hardworking employees. Friendly characters. I see some of my fav Yelpers beat me here and I don't blame them for keeping it a secret from me. Shout out Rachel M., Gigi S. Mike S. RIP, Jude and Amara. Keep your treasures close and your pirate maps hidden. Lots of bounty awaits on the high seas. Avast ye Yelpers!!!”

“Daily specials and reasonable prices. A place like Goodwill will have no sales and try to sell you used Walmart shirts for more than they'd cost at Walmart. Forget Goodwill, go to Community Thrift Store.”

“My trans friend and I recently came through and they felt really safe shopping there vs other stores. She was able to try on stuff without judgment. Wish there was more plus sizes and less fast fashion. Besides that all the employees were welcoming and it was super busy but they were still on top of it all.”

“Complaint: won't sell items without a tag/sticker...a lot of items are on the floor without tag/sticker. Takes 1 day to get price so you would have to make a 2nd trip and HOPE it would still be there.Compliment: there prices on xmas decor this year were incredible! Very reasonable/affordable. I was shocked at the quality of the items too. Brands like Homegoods, bath and body works, and other popular brands. It was very kind and thoughtful to offer nice xmas items so affordable!”

“I can say that the Tampa thrift shops are about to go e their run for their money to some shops that are not currently their competitors, but i will be willing to bet that soon we will be hearing about. This store is spotless, the shelves well stock with not only second hand items but brand new ones, on many areas such as Home goods, pets and electrical brand new ones but bedding such as blankets pillows, mattresses. You will also find new furniture as well as 2nd hand items. They now have an are for people to complete their applications for work, the staff are friendly and courteous.Bathrooms are really clean, they assigned a person to do cleaning that continue to to clean the restore.Their parki is sufficient for their traffic and it has handicap parking which is complemented by the front door access which allowed wheelchair access. They even have couple of vending snack and drinks machines.Overall, it is moving on the right direction so fast that the prices for some 2nd hand it's and clothing have gone up.judge for yourself after looking at the picks i will be providing, and levee a comment, letting me know your thoughts ??”
