“The experience was very satisfactory. I live in Orlando and we took our Gatico to Tampa. Wellswood Midtown Animal Hospital was recommended to us and the trip to Tampa was 100% worth it.
All the staff is super loving, we were present at all times to care for our cat. The Doctor explained to us each thing he had to do to the cat and then explained the results to us. Our cat is much better now and although we know that he is older, he gave us all the recommendations to share with our cat for a few more years. We recommend it 100%”

“We have been going here for 20 years. Dr. Bendit is a very compassionate and caring person. He has been upset each time we had to put a dog down. Last week our 10 year old Dobie was very sick. We left him in the care of Dr. Bendit for 4 days. We brought him back home and he is so full of energy due to the treatment of the doctor and his staff. He is a miracle worker. We thought we had to put him to sleep. Zeus is happy to be home. We thank you so much!”

“I called on a Sunday to see about an appointment for my dog, Mooney, who suddenly exhibited signs of a UTI. Lexi found an opening for us. The staff here is truly outstanding and Dr Jose and her tech were especially caring and thorough. Despite being fully booked, my wait was very reasonable. “I adopted an older dog from Pasco Animal Services. I didn’t have much information about what she’s been through. I did notice that she can be a bit growly/nippy in some situations such as trying to get a sand spur out of her paw or trying to put a swab in her mouth. I gave the limited information that I knew of to the staff during her first wellness visit today. Dr. Salton, Chris, and another staff member (I apologize for not getting her name) were so patient and kind to my little grouch.❤️ They took a lot of time with her, petting her and telling her what a good girl she was while gently performing the exam. She also got lots of treats throughout the whole process! She relaxed so much that when I was busy with the bill and paperwork she laid down and took a short nap in the exam room. The findings and recommendations were explained to me in detail and my questions were answered. The entire experience was very professional, competent and showed a high level of care and compassion for both myself and Sapphire.”

“We are so, so happy we switched to VCA. The difference between them and our previous vet is really like night and day.
The atmosphere at the clinic and in each room is so comfortable, all of the staff and Dr. Williams have been so nice and helpful with our senior girl. There's plenty of space for you to sit with your cat and hold them which really helped us to keep her calm. They have a large selection of specialty foods for your cats dietary needs and if your cat doesn't like what you buy they accept returns!
We've had to wait over a month for an appointment with other vets but they were able to get us an appointment within a week. Dr. Williams even caught some things that our previous vet overlooked / did not inform us of. I really appreciate how communicative they are with you outside of appointments, and their app is a wonderful touch.
The price of care can be a bit expensive, but you are paying for the best quality feline veterinary care I have personally experienced in my 18 years of cat ownership. If you go to their website you can get a free first visit voucher! They do offer a care plan which is just under $100 a month - for our older girl who needs a lot of monitoring and care, it made the most sense, and we definitely feel like it's worth it.
If you're looking for a vet who will listen to your concerns and treat your cat gently and proactively, THIS is where you should go.”
