“Shopped all around Perimeter Mall for men's dress shoes, with little success. As an infrequent shopper with little idea of what I wanted, all I saw were very opinionated styles that weren't going to do much for my grandmother's funeral.Von Maur felt different walking in. At first I was intimidated by how classy everything looked and felt, I was worried it was going to be too expensive. But I was greeted warmly and nonconfrontationally as I approached by Todd, who was very attentive to what I was looking for and very knowledgeable about the shoes in stock, on clearance, and in his own personal experience.He helped me find two comfortable pairs of shoes with great versatile styles, each for about half what I would expect to pay. I certainly didn't expect a place with a live piano player to have the least expensive shoes in the mall.Todd is a great salesman, but never made me feel pressured. At one point he brought out a new pair from the back, and I thought "here comes the upsell." But the pair he was bringing out were the cheapest in the store -- even he was surprised. He had just recommended them because he thought they were the right shoe for what I was looking for. Turns out he was right.It's a shame I do this kind of shopping so infrequently, because Todd himself is a real find. I couldn't find anyone in the store at that moment to praise him to, so here's a Google review. Thanks again”

I saw an employee in there waiting in line and she wasn’t even willing to use the urine filled stall. Who is responsible for cleaning, the bathroom here is always gross!”

“I came to Burlington to find a black dress for a funeral/OES session. Long story short I came across a cute name brand dress for $40 dollars. The place was nice and clean. You have to dig a bit to find the treasure but it's ok if you are into that. Let's just say that I was lucky to find what I bought. The service was good. The staff was helpful. I rarely go the Burlington but I'm glad that I did this time. I recommend that others go if you're in search a bargin.”

and enjoyable to shop.The employees are very nice and helpful. A SHOUT OUT to GEORGE (who should be in Hollywood ) he makes work Friendly and Fun and is very Smart and Professional and also BESS, who is So Sweetly Serious about her duties snd very friendly also.
HOWEVER; My Favorite Employee (PATRICK) no longer works here because he became the Store (ANGEL) this Spring 2024. He Sprung up to (The Heavenly Realm) on his way to work one day. If you knew Patrick, you knew HE would never miss a day of work.

“T.J.Maxx is one of those places where every visit feels like a little shopping adventure. If you love the thrill of the hunt, this is your store. You never know what you're going to find — designer brands, home décor, skincare, and seasonal items — all at discounted prices.
The clothing selection can be hit-or-miss, depending on the day and the store location, but when you score, you really score. I’ve found quality pieces from big brands at a fraction of the retail price. The shoe section is also worth browsing — lots of surprises there if you're willing to dig.
One of my favorite parts of T.J.Maxx? The home section. From cozy throws to stylish kitchenware and candles, it's easy to upgrade your space without breaking the bank. And the beauty aisle is full of skincare gems and high-end products you’d normally find at department stores.
The downside? It can feel a bit chaotic at times — racks can be overcrowded and not always super organized. But that’s part of the experience. If you're patient, the payoff is worth it.”
