“Dollar General Statham is an Essential part of Statham. This store has helped many people who otherwise can't get into Athens or Winder for Shopping. Elderly, those without transportation. It carries most everything a large store has just a smaller more convenient shopping experience. I am glad they are a part of Statham business.”

“I stock up on baked goods when I go to Aldi. They are good quality and inexpensive, compared to other grocery stores that I've been to. I always find good deals on fresh produce and dairy products here. Also, the Choceur chocolate bars are phenomenal and cost less than brands found at other places. Overall, definitely worth the trip, if you're shopping for the things mentioned. Remember to bring your own reusable bags.”
“This was my first experience visiting and I was highly satisfied. They had everything I needed on my list, they were very well stocked and I even got some deals on a few items which then lead me to get a few more items i thought were interesting and wanted to try. I love this store! It's not too big and I despise going into a store that's too big. The Fresh Martket is the absolute perfect size for me. I will be doing all of my grocery shopping from this particular location from now on! I ended up forgetting my blue notebook there in one of the carts when I left but I was so satisfied with my experience that it didn't even matter lol I'm absolutely getting a membership❤❤❤”
“Excellent service, always a smile at checkout and a welcoming environment. Overpriced as all Publixes are, but the BOGO deals are unbeatable if they happen to have what you want on sale. Definitely a good place if youre more worried about quality or experience than price, or if you are willing to go to multiple stores for what is cheapest at each place. I have heard excellent things about the pharmacy as well! I would rate 2 stars for price, 3 stars for price taking bogos into account- but for the deli subs, the friendly service, and the fact it doesn't have that anxiety inducing grocery store vibe, I would be remiss to deduct a single star. Just know it's an expensive good time (which is probably not what most want in a grocery shopping experience).”

This Chevron is hands down the number one stop in Athens, Georgia. The station is always clean, well-organized, and clearly run by people who care about how the place looks and operates. Everything from the pumps to the inside of the store is neat and easy to navigate, which makes stops quick and stress-free.
Prices are fair and reasonable, especially for the area, and the overall experience is consistently smooth and reliable. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this is the kind of gas station you want to stop at. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!”

I was in today getting last minute supplies for one of my daughter's birthdays, and running so far behind trying to get the house looking great for her to wake up to. The staff gladly filled balloons for me, something I was dreading at 9:30 at night. Those 5 minutes helped me so much. Thank you Mady (she is always so nice and positive) and the rest of the night crew for always taking care of your customers......”

The store was clean, organized, and fully stocked—no scavenger hunt required.
We stopped by on Thanksgiving Day, and the associates were so cheerful you’d think they were hosting the Macy’s parade. Their positive attitude made our visit feel like a holiday bonus.
Dollar General? Far superior to the other dollar stores.

“I was there today, March 7th, at 11:39 am (store number 09147). The name of the young lady who rang me up is not on the receipt but she is really awesome! I go to this store often and she is the associate I come in contact with the majority of the time. I wanted to give her a great shout out because she is always so helpful and has a great sense of humor and demeanor. “I got up early and came to Kroger to find sweet corn for Thanksgiving dinner. My daughter loves spicy corn although it's kinda too spicy for me usually. My regular store didn't have any corn at all and I was pretty disappointed because that's one of our favorite things for Thanksgiving dinner.Anyway, I came to Kroger early and was delighted to find they had plenty of sweet corn.That was one of the last things I needed for dinner tomorrow. I also had to get some potatoes for mashed potatoes because the ones I have at home are full of eyes and I don't want to eat that.I like Kroger, in fact, I prefer it over the other store. But it is much farther away. By other store it's just about walking distance.A Kroger fuel points are a great benefit, but I never get enough points to make it worth my while. I put my sister's number in because she does collect the points and she really knows how to work it. She gets all kinds of extra points for shopping on Friday, doing a surveys on the receipt, and her neat trick is buying a gift card and using it to buy the groceries. She gets a lot of extra points for that. She has enough points this month to get her gas fill up for, get this, 11¢ per gallon. I called BS on that at first but she showed me the receipt.”

“Love this store. It's classy, great coffee. They have junk food, health food, bakery stuff. The staff are so friendly, I stop there frequently for the coffee. They sell beer and wine, and gift-shop type stuff. Cool concept, a Golden Pantry with no gas pumps.”

“Curbside pickup here has been excellent here during COVID19. It's a small store, so occasionally there are a few items unavailable, but overall, it's great. If there's something I really need, I'll order from the Hull Road location. Epps Bridge, which was my most-frequented store before COVID is AWFUL and so frequently out of items. The one on the eastside is hit or miss: sometimes pretty good and sometimes a little slack. But the Alps store has become consistently reliable.”
“I’ve chose Walmart Marketplace for all my prescription needs because it’s the absolute best pharmacy I’ve come across in Athens. The personal assistance I get from this location is absolutely superb. I recently received a statin medicine from my doctor that had me very frightened out of my mind. The pharmacist, Laura, took a great deal of time to help me understand the drug and how it works in the body. I had many concerns about statins (as do others that I know). I learned, in great detail, how statins work in the body, and many things I thought in my uneducated mind were completely wrong. Laura cared enough to teach me on my level, and my fears were alleviated by her kind and informative approach. I can tell, Laura really cares about me. Time after time, I scare myself over different medications, snd shots or vaccinations I have to get, but Laura never fails to take the time to help me get over my fears. Anyone can see the love in her sweet eyes for her profession and the folks she serves, and I am blessed to be fortunate enough to have Laura’s unsurpassed council on the medications I don’t understand - explained on a level I can comprehend. Everyone on staff at Walmart Marketplace Pharmacy is just as kind and caring about me, Amy, Phil, Fredricka, and the sweet gal that always gives my doggie a treat at the pickup window! It’s the best pharmacy I’ve ever been too, and that’s a fact!”
