“I was looking for a recliner console set. I originally went into Ashley's and found one I liked, however my son suggested we check with stores before buying. As soon as we entered Havertys Furniture we were greeted by Robyn. She was friendly and inquired about what we were looking for, how big or small, my current setup and the space size. We showed us several sets and was incredibly knowledgeable on them. She was able to tell me in detail the delivery process and what to expect. I was very impressed. I got the quote and then went to La Z Boy. They were just okay, I did find something with them, and it was a bit cheaper, but Robyn is the reason why I decided to buy from Havertys. The showroom was larger than any I have visited in the southeast. After a brief introduction, the employees addressed us by name- and they were busy that day! It was obvious that details were an important part of the company culture. The customer service and design assistance were very impressive, thank you Laura Kunze and Jeanie Bross. Laura listened to my wants, asked questions regarding how the space would be used, and took into account the older furniture that I wanted to keep in the room. I now have a plan mapped out for future purchases that will compliment my dreamy new leather chair, happy lamp, and comfortable sofa. All pet paw protected- and pet approved purchases! There was no pressure to make an impulsive purchase. The experience was the equivalent of having a great friend with interior design expertise helping you select the perfect furniture.
