“I experienced a medical emergency due to unexpected dizziness resulting in a fall in the parking lot. There were (2) Walmart employees who came and assisted me up and helped me into a wheelchair shopping cart. I feel like the employees went above and beyond the call of duty. Sam Walton and the Walmart family would be very proud of these employees. Although, I did not sustain any serious injuries I am grateful for the quick response and also the courtesy of both of them.”

“I recently visited Dixie Candle Company and Produce Stand in Hiram, Georgia, and what an absolute treat! This place is truly a hidden gem in Hiram and a must-visit if you love shopping local.
They offer so much more than just fresh produce—everything from artisan bread to deep freezers stocked with locally sourced pork and beef from area farmers. The selection of fresh vegetables was incredible, and I couldn’t resist grabbing some snacks too. My personal favorites were the barbecue pig skin, the vintage-style candy, and the nostalgic bottled drinks—such a fun throwback!
Inside, you’ll also find hand-poured candles, plus several booths supporting local artists and makers, including a vendor with beautiful custom pottery and another selling unique handmade jewelry. It’s the kind of place where there’s truly something for everyone.
The best part? I loaded up on fresh veggies and snacks and only spent $22—amazing value for the quality and variety. If you’re looking for local produce, handmade goods, candles, and artisan products in Hiram, GA, I highly, highly recommend stopping by Dixie Candle Company and Produce Stand.
