“After having my hotel room sold to a hurricane evacuee in Macon before we could get to the hotel before 3. The travel center was extremely helpful in making a nice clean dr3shlyhower safe for a disabled elderly woman...ME.. and Vanessa even put a brand new chair in the shower for me. .She was so sweet, patient and went out of her way to accommodate my needs, make me feel comfortable and safe. All of the employees were extremely helpful and professional. A great place for gas food rest showers any kind of snack or hot food ! Just a bad day turned super nice and relaxing.”

“Gasoline prices were competitive - regular was $3.59 for credit and $3.49 for cash. Down the way, Shell was $3.69. After filling up, we used the clean, stocked bathrooms. Then we picked out Polish sausage & hot dog on buns for lunch - 2 for $3.50 plus tax. They were a good, quick, eat in your car lunch. They had other good selections - wraps, sandwiches, boiled peanuts and more. A microwave was available to heat up foods or drinks.Cashier was friendly and efficient. I deducted one star for 2 employees out front on their break, smoking cigarettes. We did not like inhaling the ladies’ smoke as we walked in. They should have moved around the back. But their jobs are secure. The sign in front window said Circle K is hiring for all shifts!”

“I needed some nostalgia from my early childhood years. I remembered reading about Stuckey's a few years back, so I was excited about my drive to Perry, GA!Don't let the small store fool you; the interior selection of pastries, candies, knick-knacks and kitsch was AWESOME, in addition to the usual convenience store fare.They also had an adorable dog park and outdoor seating for dining near the BP gas pumps (but not too close). lolI was the only car there at noon on a Sunday, but while in the store, FOUR Door Dash drivers came in to pick up food from the grill to deliver to customers, so it must be pretty darn good because there are plenty of places nearby to order from.The Stuckey's pecan log, candies, and cheese straws were delicious!!!So if you don't want the crowds at the other big convenience/travel store down the road (this Texan grew up with both), or just want a more personal vibe, stop at Stuckey's!!This Texan loved it!”
