Pet Stores & Supplies

Hometown Feed & Seed
5200 Hwy 17, KingslandThe current staff is very friendly. I do not, however, understand how I can drive to Waycross and get a round bale for $40, but I would be charged $95 a bale here. Please make it make logical sense. The profit margin on this is unbelievable. This doesn't encourage me to shop local and discourages me from wanting to shop for much of anything here unless it is my only option

Laurel Oaks Animal Hospital
5775 Laurel Island Pkwy, KingslandI found my Golden Lab baby who will be turning 14 years old in a few months, bleeding. At first i could not find out where the blood was coming from. She had some trouble trying get up so i helped her. It was then that i saw blood coming from the knee area of her left front leg. It was not just a little blood. It was pouring out of a wound. I wrapped a paper towel around it and held it to try to stop the bleeding. I soaked through the paper towel and ran down my hand. I was in a panic and called Laurel Oaks. After a very short discussion with the young lady who answered my call i was told to take her in right away. I was there in a matter of a few minutes. My Rosie was taken right in and the doctor looked at her and then took her to a treatment room. She was back within maybe 15 minutes. A suture was needed to close off the artery that was cut. We are not sure how she did, but she is doing well now and i am so thankful for Laurel Oaks Animal Hospital and Dr. Clark. It was a scary thing for me and Rosie, but a very good end result. I would never go to a different vet for my pets.

Outerbanks Sports Bar & Grill
140 The, Lakes Blvd # H, KingslandSo, this is a great local dive bar and we love it. Great bar food, think wings, burgers, ice cold beer, and great service. If your in that kinda mood, swing by, belly up to the bar and enjoy. Nothing fancy and they ain't tryin to be. Sometimes all we want is a simple bar, and OBX does that very well... See y'all at the bar...
