“Had a great moving experience with Tomahawk. I picked up my stuff from a pod/freight facility in Conley and the team of 3 moved my things into my Cabbagetown apartment easily. A few things were nicked in the move, but I'm fairly certain that all came from sending my items by freight from Chicago, and not the Tomahawk movers. They were on time, communicative, and very kind about helping me assemble my furniture even though they didn't take it apart originally. Would definitely use them again.”

They are a small outfit and fabricate all their products to order. Everything is precise and square, and beefy enough to handle a lifetime of piano moving. The wheels are extra-wide and are the sturdiest kind available. The swivel wheels can be locked in-line, and the mechanism for this is much more clever, quick, and forgiving than other dollies I've used. I can't wait to give these guys more of my business.”

“We have been living here for over a year and a half and we love it. The main and most important aspect for us is maintenance. They’re quick to address the issue and fix wherever your apartment needs. Overall clean areas and streets, with quiet and kind neighbors. Gym is always clean and smells good. Equipment is not old or damaged, it has everything you need for a good workout. Pool area is well kept too. Office employees are always nice.Only 2 suggestions to the office/maintenance.1-Put up a sign near the trash compactor that says to not leave trash on the ground near the entry of the pathway. Or to at least take it all the way to the end near the compactor, if compactor is full. People need to learn to dispose of their own trash properly. Maintenance does a good job at keeping that area clear and clean though.2- Put up a camera in the Amazon/mail locker room, to keep people from stealing packages. It hasn’t happened to me and I’m not sure it happens, but I’m always surprised to see that many Amazon packages left on the ground unattended.”

“At this moment, I've had a zippy shell delivered earlier this week, and it's being picked up tomorrow. Aside from the website being a little non-user friendly, I finally just called them because the quote I received from Pods was high enough to at least check on another option. The sales person on the phone was great, informative, and patient while I was a little frustrated in general (moving sucks.) Suggested a lower cost option that I didn't reali3 was available: having my shell moved to the storage facility for the week instead of staying on site. The delivery driver who brought the unit was professional and nice, and the gentleman who called to confirm my details was efficient and helpful. They even gave me a lock for the unit for free. The other review here that is negative: I DONT UNDERSTAND. I'm picky. I'm a stickler for customer service and simplicity. I'll never rent a truck ever again... this is much simpler than driving across town and paying for mileage and gas and allll of those wasted hours! Post move add on: The team picked up my shell after my move a couple of days ago! It was SUCH a great experience overall. They communicated well, and in all of the transfers I only broke two plates, which I just didn't pack as well as I should have. No other damage at all. I will DEFINITELY use zippy shell again, and I'll NEVER rent a uhaul again lol Try it! You won't be disappointed.”

“Excellent . It’s crazy how they can put you in the schedule so fast . Crew works fast too. Just remind them to be careful moving is dangerous and accidents can happen . None happen with me but I noticed with my new home purchase that something can go wrong with heavy furniture dropping or a lot of moving Pieces . Just be on top of them .
