“We have been with Signature Bank for almost 20 years using them for 2 businesses as well as our personal banking.
I highly recommend them - Freddie the CEO is accessible, David Perlis is awesome (our banker). They are responsive, helpful and know their stuff. I also like that they have positive pay for checking - and don't charge for it. It provides great peace of mind.
They are not convenient to me, but I put up with the distance because most everything can be done on line, and I value that they have our back and I know if there is ever a problem they will be responsive about addressing it.
These kind of banks are a dying breed - where you are a person and not a number every time you call.”
“I experienced such a hard time when I first came to the branch. I came to get a replacement debit card. I was told by one teller that it couldn’t be replaced Bcz of the different address on my I.D and what they have as my address in the system. I verified the address they had in the system, and the teller said I still couldn’t get a physical card. She told me I can get a virtual card, if I call the customer service number. I explained that I really needed a physical card, she gave me no options at all. I then asked to speak to a manager. She went and got the manager which was a A.A man with glasses and dreads by the name of Charles. He came out and basically not even 10 seconds said NO! He said he couldn’t help me. Bcz of MULTIPLE reasons? Which he couldn’t elaborate to me what they were!! At this point I was super lost! I said multiple things ??? I said I can’t even show my passport to be identified? He said NO! He gave me no other options. I proceeded to ask for his supervisor. He said SHES GONNA TELL YOU THE SAME THING I JUST TOLD YOU, but I will go and get her for you. I said thanks. He proceeded to get her, and she came actually swiftly. This woman came and she was the branch manager, Her name was AMANDA. She came , she was well dressed and said how may I help you? I told her my situation, she instantly asked me? Do you have a passport to be verified? I said yes. She said that's all she needed to see and she can help me out and she said , ok see you soon. ( I had to go home ands get passport) It was the options that were giving instead of the complete NO. She was well trained on making the customer satisfied and happy instead of leaving them disappointed. She showed me soooooo much love!!!! When i came back, this woman wanted to hear my voice on what could have been changed with the staff, I told her, I wished the other two staff members could have given me options like she did. I told her that you know I was going through something, so it was devastating that I couldn’t get the help I needed basically, by her staff until she came. She listened, she gave me advice on a personal stand point for myself, and she even lets just say, she did a very “good deed” from the heart ❤️ for my children. She was just so authentic , so pure, and had the heart of a mother and a friend that I never ever knew❤️ and I really just wanted to thank her for that. By the way, I brought passport back and my debit card was printed up asap! At the branch! Thanks so much AMANDA! She’s the real MVP! P.S. I also told her that two other staff members ignored me when I said EXCUSED ME ? Her name was (rea or kea) she kept walking. As if she didn’t want to help me or she didn’t hear me but it was so loud Bcz her co-worker looked and I said can you call her name for me ? She looked at me and ignored me as well! ( she was a lighter skin girl sitting at the counter in front of the door when you enter! I didn’t catch her name. But she just had relieved (rea/kea) . So I would have gave this branch a 1 Bcz of their customer service. But when I ran into AMANDA that’s why the 4 was given. I think Amanda is a super 10 by the way. But staff was definitely a 1 or 2! For their customer service. Thanks again AMANDA ❤️”
