Around 1:00 p.m., my elderly mother stopped to get gas at Pump 1, and her debit card became stuck in the pump. She went inside to ask for assistance, and even though there was a line at the register, Bernard immediately asked what was wrong and came outside to help without hesitation. While speaking with him, my mother mentioned that she was feeling lightheaded. Bernard showed genuine concern and told her to go back inside, sit down, and grab something to eat while he finished pumping her gas for her. His kindness, patience, and willingness to help made a stressful situation much easier for my mother. In today’s world, it’s refreshing to see an employee who truly cares about customers. There is often a line at the in store pharmacy and drive through so recommend planning extra time in general for your meds pickups. Also be aware that services may be limited on either side of lunch or close to close. I was told walk ins anytime for flu shots and it turns out that 30 min either side of their 1:30-2pm lunch break they are unavailable. (Hopefully this will help someone else avoid two trips for their flu shot.)”
