“For specific things Aldi is an awesome choice! They have fabulous cheeses and wines, good breads (often their brand but it's very tasty and cheap). They also feature frozen items that you won't find other places that make great go to items for cooking when you're in a hurry. I found the vegetables and fruits, although limited varieties, to be fresh and great values. Highly recommend.”

“It is a great Publix now it might be on an island away from Savannah but if you live in the landings . It has all the produce and normal Publix has it has very good customer service. The employees are nice and it has great food. Plus they even have golf cart parking lot.”

Their frozen vegetables are fresh as well.
I was surprised of the large pieces. Most stores frozen vegetables offer smaller sized pieces (and I am not referring to portions). And one serving is quite filling.
I have found since shopping at Aldi's their breads are fresher and reasonably priced. I didn't care for sparkling water but their cranberry flavored water has changed my mind. I am going to try another flavored water the next time I shop at Aldi's!
They have a no hassle policy when returning an item.

“I needed to return a package from Amazon there. It was friendly customer service. Then, I decided to shop a little bit for groceries. They had seasonal produce like muscadines and blueberries. Overall, the prices are a little higher than other grocery stores. So, I prefer to go to other stores for regular items. It was a fun shopping experience. They accept EBT food stamps. They have shade trees in their parking lot. I prefer to cook and eat at home, but if you like to eat out they had a wide variety of ready to eat food available. Something else interesting is that when I was at the self-checkout one of the onions would not scan, so they gave it to me for free.”

“Yesterday I attempted to order takeout dinner items from Fresh Market on Abercorn in Savannah, GA. Apparently I did not complete the order correctly so the employees were quite taken aback when my husband showed up to pick up the food. A very pleasant gentleman manager immediately intervened, explained clearly what had transpired and addressed the issue by helping my husband select alternative items. The dinners were fresh and delicious and very reasonably priced and the 3 desserts were delectable! Kudos to Fresh Market for their excellent food and outstanding customer service!”

We love their food so much, US Food store has become our go to place for ordering large orders for our volunteers and Monthly Community Dinners we do for the homeless and struggling people in the West Savannah area.”
