“We received outstanding customer service at the Ameris Bank – Stockbridge branch. There was a bit of confusion/misunderstanding during our initial visit to the branch but we decided to go back the same day and give it one more try. We did attempt to open accounts at two other financial institutions but kind of knew that Ameris is where we really wanted to be. We sat down with Mr. Jerry Mays and opened our business account. He apologized for the issues prior. Mr. Mays took his time and made sure that he answered all of the questions we had. He was very polite and thanked us for our time. Mr. Mays also stayed in touch with us throughout the online enrollment process which was very helpful. Good help is hard to find these days and Mr. Mays made our long hunt for a business account worthwhile. We greatly appreciate his dedication, time and attention to detail.”

“I haven’t been in this branch in a while, and banks these days usually have very limited staff compared to the past. I hadn’t waited long, when I saw Kevin Cogdell in lobby. I asked if Yolanda the manager was in and he said not this week, but let me see if I can help you. He called me in his office in 2 minutes and began working immediately to help me with my situation. It was regarding a closed safety deposit box and a now closed location and he went to work on phone getting assistance to help me get contents back. Very impressed, as customer service is not common at this level anymore.”
