“What an amazing collection! They have a bit of everything here. One can easily spend hours looking through shelf after shelf. Also they have cats, definitely a plus.”
“Espresso machiatto with cream… went back 2 days in a row to get one. Also tried their vegan bean pie … whoever made it wasn’t kidding :) delish
Dietary restrictions: Vegan bean pie was delicious”
“Very knowledgeable staff who can help you find just about anything or order it if they don’t have it. Excellent selection of both new and use books and a whole bunch of other cool stuff. They’ll even buy books you’ve read that are in good condition from you.”
“My experience here was amazing and I’m Glad that there is stores still like this that is open. As I start my spiritual battles, the amount of bibles and other tools here is something I can rely on to seek the truth and Wanda was extremely helpful and friendly that it felt right at home and the presence here is something I can say emotionally and spiritually happy and amazed!!! Look forward to my next visit whenever I need it !”
“Love this bookstore! It seems like someone's front porch but the bookstore is cozy and has a great collection of books. They have all genres of books, stickers, Agnes Scott Merch, and Knick knacks. There is ample parking in the back of the store. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They carry a superb collection of books on "Politics of Place", "Women and Race", and "Children's Books". It is a reader's heaven and a perfect place to buy a gift. The books are moderately priced. They have month-wide events for readings and discussions. I highly recommend bringing yourself here with a cup of coffee and kindling your thoughts with some amazing reads.”
“This is the best place to buy pens! I know but here verse office store, the quality of pen is way better than most. The owner is a nice lady, she also teaches calligraphy classes. I recommend coming here!”
“Amazing book shop! The staff are magical elves with book knowledge as their superpower. They create such a wonderful space for kids and families. The camps and programs are phenomenal!”
“I'd never been to BAM. I visited to buy more books as I finished the ones I brought on my trip. It's a typical book and calendar store along with extras to buy. That's where the treasures are hidden. I bought a Care Bears mug for a friend's birthday similar to one I got as a kid. There are tons of Funko Pops. There were characters I didn't know they'd made. If you're in a particular fan base, I highly recommend going through the entire store looking at these items. I found a Camp Crystal Lake decoration for a friend. BAM offers a rewards program for $20 annually. I didn't buy it because we don't have this store where I live. But you can use it online too.”
“Wished there were more like in Texas. They're personable and fully enjoy the vibe in this store. They ordered me a few books that came quickly. Love this place.”
“I'd been driving past A Cappella for a few years now and had always meant to go in. Today was my first time visiting and I had an amazing experience! Both of the employees working were kind and helpful, with clear knowledge and passion for all things literature. Great selection of new and used books, and overall a wonderful, inviting little store.I'll absolutely be back!”
“There was a time all Atlanta had was Barnes & Noble, A Cappella, and Atlanta Classic Books. With the death of B&N, we have been missing a bookstore with a great selection of books both for adult and children (and they even have some games). And now here it is! With a more intimate feel than VaHi Books. I’m an A Cappella regular, but loved this spot as I can shop for our whole family. And the booksellers are very knowledgeable and are clearly proud of the store. 100% will be back.”
“Nice little spot off the beaten path. I liked the cats decor everywhere. Very appropriate. Prices were a little high for used paperbacks, but it was worth it to support a small bookstore. They're a dying species.”
“A great neighborhood friendly bookstore! Always bright and delightful. The vibe is always cozy and comfy.
They have a lot of special editions for the classics here.
If you’re Cthulu fans, do check out their collections from time to time to get limited edition with cool cover, poster, and way-above-expectation illustrations (really amazing).
A nice cafe at the back btw! Brownie and other desserts are highly recommended.
Love it!”
“There was an excellent selection the staff I interacted with was very informative and very patient. I did not check out the available drinks but other than that it was clean and well-appointed”
“What a nice and organized bookstore. Perfect if you're trying to find just the right book gift for a child in your life. The staff is super helpful too. Support a local bookstore!!”
“Tons of books, a bit disheveled though…maybe after a few visits I would feel more comfortable but unfortunately I was only visiting. If you are a paperback fan there is a pretty massive selection (much better than the hardback for fiction anyway)”
“Like to shop here for vegetarian/vegan foods, a bit pricey, but has a good variety of selection. I am also able to feed my soul spiritually from the many printed word selections present. Highly recommend.”
“Love this bookshop! They have a varied selection of every genre, particularly different authors of different backgrounds, and the owners take so much care in making recommendations. Kids’ books have recommendations by other kids - highly recommend!”
“The area included as a national recreation area is several spread apart destinations along the river. Here, the focus is on a part of the river that is relatively easy to wade in. It looked fairly natural, but with all the signs about water quality and the degree of urban sprawl in Atlanta, I wouldn't expect great things. The muddy banks gave way to a wadeable area and a small island. Trails ran through hillier parts of the riverbank as well. Near the visitor center, a boat launch offered the chance for canoes and water rings to get down easily. It wasn't amazing, and you do need a parks pass, but it is a nice place to cool down.”
“A nice B&N campus bookstore. Came up here to get a shirt for my daughter, but they had a full kids books section. Great selection of clothing although they need youth Emory Softball shirts ;) Prices are what you would expect at an Emory bookstore!”
“I went to this college for my sister and the sweatshirt I got was very nice. This store also has a variety of clothes to choose from, snacks, school supplies, cups, stickers, parent t-shirts, baby clothes, jewelry, soda, etc... A wonderful store”
“3 adult students were chosen do give testimonials about our experience with their program. We delivered them in front of G.S.U's president & donors. It was an honor I never expected.”

“My cousin and I came here to get souvenirs for her friends, and there’s so much cute and affordable stationary, like the stores in Korea have! I love the pens, and they have my favorite style of pencil pouches (cloth rectangular ones).”
“Place is wonderfully AMAZING. And the people & workers are great communicators and make you feel perfectly greated they are the BEST AND FIND EVERYTHING YOU ARE IN NEED OF. <3 definitely be back”
